Strains of Chopin drifted through the night as Jeremiah held Vicky, and wiped her tears away.
"Burke, how could you have treated me like that?" Vicky said through quiet sobs.
"You belong to me, Vicky, that's why. And I only took what's mine, so, don't cry. The pain will go away in a little while, and I will take you again, and you will know the pleasure of my touch, and will cry for it." Jeremiah said knowingly.
"I don't understand you, Burke. You said we would wait until we were married, and then you raped me. Now, you say I will enjoy your touch the next time. You are insufferable. Now, just let me go. I never want to see you again." Vicky said, quite hysterical by now.
"I will never let you go. Are you angry because you crave my touch again so soon? You were made for love, my dear sweet little schoolteacher." Jeremiah said, cupping Vicky's face in his hands, and he reached down and kissed her gently, then he began to probe his tongue in her mouth harder, feeling her respond against her will, as she had done when he had taken her the first time.
He pulled away abruptly, and sternly said, "don't fight me, Vicky. I always get what I want, and you are what I want, and you want me too. You can lie with your lips, but your body betrays your words." Pulling her on top of him, he kissed her again and again, until she was moaning with want.
Suddenly she jerked away from him, before he could stop her, she was out of his bed, and was getting dressed.
"Where are you going, Vicky?" Jeremiah asked lazily, not moving from the bed.
"I have to meet Barnabas at the Blue Whale, remember? Burke, don't look shocked, we already talked about it." Vicky said hurriedly.
Before Vicky knew it, Jeremiah had his arms around
her, and said, "You are not going to meet Barnabas now or any other time, do
you hear me? You are to stay away from Barnabas Collins, is that understood?"
