"Burke, I don't understand you. I thought you and Barnabas were on good terms now. You knew I was going to see him tonight." Vicky said, struggling to get away from him.
Shoving her hard on the bed, he said, "you're not going to meet with Barnabas."
"I don't know what's got into you, but you can't keep me prisoner here. After what you've done to me, I can't believe you have no remorese, and then you tell me I can't see Barnabas. I don't ever want to see you again, Burke Devlin." Vicki shouted.
"You don't have a choice, even if what you said were true." Jeremiah said.
Vicki noticed Jeremiah getting dressed, and said, "where are you going?"
"To the Blue Whale, of course. Get dressed, Vicky,
we can't leave the man waiting. It would be rude." Jeremiah said sarcastically,
finally figuring out how to fasten and close all the proper buttons, and zippers
on Burke Devlin's clothing. He refused to wear a tie, and took the fastener
out his hair, releasing the pony tail he was accustomed to wearing. Brushing
the tangles out of his hair, he was ready to go and confront his nephew.
