"Burke Devlin, you are the most insufferable, brutish, horrible person I know. I thought I knew you, but it's obvious I don't know anything about you. I never want to see you again." Vicky screamed.

"Stop that, Victoria!" Jeremiah exclaimed.

"Stop what? The truth? I would never marry a man who has treated me in the manner that you have treated me today. When we get to Collinsport I want you out of my car, and out of my life." Victoria railed.

"If you meant that, I would gladly oblige you. But we both know better, don't we, Vicky?" Jeremiah said smugly.

"Oh, you -- you" -- Victoria began, and was interrupted when Jeremiah pulled her into his tight embrace, and covered her lips with his. Brutally forcing his tongue into her mouth, thrusting it back and forth until she began to respond, and started to kiss him back with an intensity to match his. He pulled her closer to him, and broke off the kiss, and threading his fingers through her hair, pushing it behind her ear, he whispered urgently, "touch me, Victoria," taking her hand and pushing it down on his throbbing, hard cock.

"What is that?" Jeremiah asked, pushing Vicky away from, gesturing to something on the backseat.

"It's a newspaper," Vicky said chagrinned that she had succumbed to him once more.

"I know that. Is it recent, he said leaning over the seat of the car to retrieve it. He had saw the picture, but it wasn't clear, and he had wanted to make sure he was wrong.

The headlines screamed "Local Girl Still Missing."

"My god, this can't be." Jeremiah said unbelieving, mostly to himself.

"What can't be?" Vicky said, now curious.

"Josette!" Jeremiah barely mouthed the word.
