Jeremiah was too close to his body, and the being that now took possession of it, he knew who it was! His body was powerful, and the vampire that was his nephew did not detect the change until it was too late.
"Quentin Collins," he whispered, and the female ghost was beside him, and had freed him from his bonds, nodded affirmatively that it was indeed the Ghost of Quentin Collins.
He was terrified as he watched his body empowered by
supernatural strength throw the vampire against the wall of he cell, and then
watched as he picked up a chair, and broke a leg off, and walked gracefully,
with a strength that was pure evil coming from his body in waves. It was then
that he noticed Barnabas' slave, the one he called Willie, approaching his body
from behind with what appeared to be a small firearm, and he raised it and pointed
it at his body. Jeremiah knew for a fact that his physical body could die, and
he watched helplessly as Willie raised the weapon, pointed at his head, just
as his possessed body raised the wooden stake and placed it over the heart of
Barnabas.
