So much was happening all at once!

Julianka could smell death on Barnabas' breath as he stepped closer, his hands came up and tugged on Juliankas hair, exposing the flesh of her neck.

His only thoughts were of full intentions of snacking on her throat!

Suddenly with canines ready for the kill, Barnabas stopped just short of inches of the vital life-giving artery.

His head turned in the direction of the new sound, his blood-red eyes opened in shocked amazement for what he was witnessing.

Could it be? His long-lost love? And singing?

The vision of Josette suddenly appeared before his eyes.

Yes, Josettes singing had indeed stopped him just in the nick of time. But, unfortunately it didn't stop Julianka's knee from connecting with a sickening crunch into Barnabas groin!

Just at the same time her knee landed, Elaine seemed to fly down from the stairs.

Just as Barnabas had sensed another vampire, and turned too late from Josette, His eyes flew open in shock just as Elaine hit Barnabas with a blow that would have instantly killed a mortal.

Then at that point, all hell seemed to break loose. Jon, Carolinamoon, Connie, Kim, Cindy and Willie were knocked over in the melee.

Not to be left out at a chance to get to Barnabas, Scarlett joined the fray, as Jon regained his feet and tried to pull Julianka away from Barnabas writhing form.

The sound of shattering glass filled the air as wine bottles and crystal glasses broke and were sent flying from the now overturned tables.

All of a sudden, a shot rang out, someone screamed and another fainted!

"WILL YOU ALL STOP!" Shadow screamed as she held a smoking gun aloft. One gun of many that had been secreted throughout the old house.

"Everybody chill!" she ordered.

Cindys' head slowly rose from behind a love seat. Blinking her eyes, she asked the oblivious, "Where have YOU been?"

"I slipped off to have a look around". A tiny smiled came to her, I was hoping that I may see Bramwell walking around the grounds or even inside somewhere," waving the gun about the room.

Everyone was ducking and dodging as she did, trying to get out of the target range of the pistol in case of accidental fire.

Shadow continued her story of what had just transpired, oblivious to everyones movements and reasons why.

"Anyway, Josettes ghost appeared to me and we were having a nice visit until Barnabas crashed your party,"
Shadow explained, as she sneered at the now crumpled up vampire.

Josette floated to Barnabas side, kneeling next to him she wept. She began to plead with Barnabas to let her new friend Shadow and her group go unmolested.

While Elaine checked over the group for damage. "Y'all well do. Ah bit bruised, but stehll in one piece." She said, turning Juliankas head to the side and finding to her relief, that Julianka neck wasn't even scratched.

"My, My", laughed a new voice from the door, "I turn my back for a minute and you all run off on an adventure and make a fine mess of things!" Walking farther into the foyer, Beverlys tone scolded the little group, who was being followed by Angie, Donna, Alia, Shelly, Melissa, Mark and Andy.

Like the good list mommy she is, Beverly began counting noses. And turned to Shadow to get the scoop on the events of the evening......
