Nicholas and Angelique looked at each other in horror. They had just been warned by their Master, that He was very angry and disapointed with them. He told them, "Anything can happen now, anything at all! "
Angelique was so nervous, she was shaking, and her bottom lip trembled. She looked at Nicholas for support. "What do we do now, Nicholas?" She asked with fear.
"First, we must admit, what fools we have been !" He stated. "Why did you have to go to Barnabas?" He asked her angrily.
"I did go to Barnabas, because you slept with Eve, Nicholas!" She replied. "Yes, it seems we have both been fools." Angelique said.

"I am leaving here, Nicholas, and you cannot stop me this time!" Adam roared to Nicholas.
"Wait, Adam, surely I can explain to you." Offered Nicholas.
"There is nothing to explain, Nicholas." "You love Eve, and she loves you; she is going to have your baby, Nicholas!"
"Adam, there is nothing between Eve and I, we are not lovers." "It was "unfortunate" that it happened, but I assure you, we do not love each other."
Adam looked at Nicholas with hatred. "I do not believe you, Nicholas. "You lie to me, again and again." "I am going now, and I will never return here!" Adam quickly left the room, and walked out the front door.
"Adam, wait !" Nicholas called. Adam was gone, he had disappeared into the black of the night.
"Has he gone, now?" Eve asked. Eve had just entered the room.
"Yes, my dear, Adam has gone." "I do not expect he shall return."
Eve looked seductively at Nicholas. "Now we can be alone, Nicholas." She said. She walked over to him, and placed her arms around his neck, looking into his dark eyes. "Don't you want to make love to me again, Nicholas?"
He looked at her, with amusement, and said, "Yes, Eve, I do want to make love to you, strongly and passionately." He growled at her, like an animal. He continued to stare into her eyes, and he held her tightly.
"Well, Nicholas, what are we waiting for?" Eve asked.
'However, now is not the right time, Eve." "You see, you should be mourning the loss of your mate, Adam." He pulls himself away from her now.
"I have always hated Adam, you know that ! " "You are the one I love, Nicholas."
"You know you were not created to love me, Eve." He told her,
'I cannot help it, Nicholas; I am going to have your child."
He looked at her coldly now, "Well you shall have to learn to control yourself, Eve, don't you know that?" He replied.
Eve looked at him, her eyes narrowing, "I hate you, Nicholas Blair!" Eve quickly left the room.

Angelique sat in the chair. She was crying. "What is to become of us, and to our children, Nicholas?" "I am a mother now, I can feel the child in me." "I should be happy, Nicholas, but I am frightened for my child, and myself." "I am frightened for you too Nicholas, and for your child; are you not?" Angelique looked at him, with tears in her eyes.
'Yes, I am worried." He told her. Nicholas paced the room.
'What do you think our Master shall do to us?" Angelique asked him.
"I'm sure I do not know." Nicholas replied.
Suddenly Angelique began to sob uncontrollably. Nicholas looked at her in wonder, and then he felt compassion for her. He walked over to the beautiful witch. "Why, Angelique, he said, stroking her hair, "I don't believe I have ever seen you this emotional, or this upset."
She answered him, through her sobbing, and her tears, "I have never been a mother before, Nicholas, and I am so afraid."
"My lovely Angelique, do not worry so, and do not cry." He wiped away her tears.
