It was decided that Nicholas and Donamarie would have the artist, John Michael to come to their home to finish the portrait. The artist arrived at Blair house at two p.m.
Donamarie was dressed in her red velvet dress. Her ears were adorned with pearls, as well as her graceful neck.
Nicholas was not too trusting of this young man. He eyed him with speculation. He didn't like the looks he was giving his new bride this afternoon. Nicholas' eyes narrowed as he watched the artist paint. There was something in his eyes that Nicholas Blair did not like. It was a look of sexual desire, a look of lust. Nicholas knows that look quite well. In his long existence, he too had experienced these feelings time and again, and he knew what the outcome could be. Nicholas thought he would read the young mans' thoughts, just to be sure, though he knew he was right. Nicholas concentrated deeply on the mans' thoughts. He concentrated on his mind. He went deep, deeper into the mind of John Michael, the artist. Nicholas closed his eyes for a few moments, to help him read his mind. Suddenly he could read his thoughts. This house is quite the place. It's nice here by the sea. The money will sure come in handy! The young man thought to himself. He was unaware that his thoughts were being read by the warlock Nicholas Blair. That dress she's wearing is so fine, but not as fine as the woman wearing it! That hair, those eyes of hers! And the way she smiles... Nicholas' eyes narrowed further and his face became stern. She has a lovely voice. Her voice is sweet, and delightful. She is quite diffferent than other women I have known. What made her marry this guy Blair ,anyway? The artist thought. Then the artist spoke to her. "You have such delicate facial features." He told Donamarie. Again he thought to himself, I'd like to see her breasts. I wonder if she would let me paint a nude of her!
Nicholas was enraged at this information! The artist would now feel the wrath of Nicholas Blair! Nicholas concentrated deeply, for he had a spell to cast. Nicholas thought to himself, while casting his spell. These vibrations shall cause you pain... You shall feel it first in your fingers and hand...You shall find you cannot paint, and you shall drop your brush....
Just as promised, the artist appears to experience pain. He stops painting abruptly.
"John Michael, are you alright?" Donamarie asks him. "Yes, its just a cramp, that's all, I get them sometimes." He replies.
Nicholas continues his spell on him. Now the pain is traveling to your other arm. Notice how it is now moving throughout your body...It is causing you extreme pain....The pain is so great, you feel that you may die this day...
John Michael cries out in agony, as the easel and painting fall to the floor! "Nicholas, please help him!" Donamarie shouts. "Yes of course!" Nicholas feigns interest in helping the man. "Here, let me help you." Nicholas says. He helps the aritist to the next room. 'Stay where you are, Donamarie." Nicholas orders her.
Once they were in the room, and the man seated, Nicholas spoke to him. "If you do not want to experience death-like pain once again...then I would suggest you cease your "thoughts" and desires of my wife!" Nicholas warns him. Nicholas looks deeply into his eyes as he warns him. The man looks at him in horror! "What..? Who are you? What did you do to me?" He asks. "Someone you should fear! Someone you shall listen to and obey! I could do far worse to you! Nicholas threatens. I could kill you where you sit right now!" Nicholas warns in a low but sinister voice. Nicholas eyes were black, then red with fury! Slowly his eyes changed to green. He appears to be looking into the mans' very soul. "Now you cease these thoughts, or I shall kill you!!" Says Nicholas.
The artist looks into his face, and he now knows he is looking upon the face of evil; the face of evil, disguised as a handsome man! "Now you shall listen to me, John Michael. You shall finish the portrait of her...and you shall stop thinking of her! She is mine. He tells him. I will have no other man thinking of her that way! Do you understand? He asks the frightened artist. When the portrait is done, you shall have no further contact with me, or my wife! Is that clear?" Nicholas threatens. "Ye-Yes, it is clear, very clear. I will think no more of her." He promises. "Just remember, I can kill you in a heartbeat!" Nicholas threatens again.
John Michael enters the room. He announces he is finished for the day. "Are you alright, John?" Donamarie asks, for she is worried for him. She rushes to his side. Instinctively the artist backs away from her, hardly daring to look at her. "Nicholas, what is wrong with him?" She asks. "Nothing my dear. Nothing that a good bottle of whiskey and a nap will not fix!" He taps the man on his shoulder, bidding him to go home and rest. "I will see you in one week." John Michael says quietly. He seems afraid to look at either of them in their eyes now. He leaves quickly. "What was that all about?" Donamarie asks in wonder. "Cramps my dear, artists get them all the time." Nicholas replies. He looks out the window, to make sure the artist has gone. An evil smile appears on the warlocks' lips. The man has gone.
