part 1 of ? NICK'S CHRISTMAS ANGEL

He looked at the calender in front of him, it read December 1, 1968. "Christmas time again!" He muttered to himself. "This is one holiday I would like to forget." The man is, Nicholas Blair, powerful warlock. 'Why do people persist in celebrating this holiday?" He muttered again. "Don't they know how foolish they look? Singing, and dancing, and buying gifts..." "They look ridiculous to me!" He complained to no one.

Nicholas was alone at Blair house. He preferred the peace and quiet. He liked the serenity of it all. He could now have the entire house to himself. Adam and Eve were gone, and so was Angelique. He thought a moment about Angelique. He missed their endless battles of words. He missed her smile when he pleased her. What he missed most of all, was their talks of the past, when they were a new warlock and witch. He missed their love-making , too. Did he love Angelique, he didn't really know about that, but he missed her just the same. She was with Barnabas now. He hoped she was happy.

Nicholas turned on the radio. He wanted to find some soothing music. What he heard on the radio was a Christmas carol. Obviously irritated, he changed the station quickly. To his dismay, he heard another Christmas carol playing on the radio. 'Christmas!!" He roared. He quickly switched off the radio. "Master! Make this dreadful holiday go away!" He said, pacing the room.

There was a knock on the door, Nicholas answered it. It was a trio of children. They were smiling, and holding boxes of Christmas candy. "Would you like to buy some Christmas candy, mister?" They asked. He looked at them, one by one. "No, it's against my beliefs, now go!" He told them. He slammed the door in their faces.

Feeling frustrated, weary, and lonely, Nicholas sat down to think. He was missing his baby son. The baby had been taken by his Master. Nicholas would not see him until he is a grown man. Tears fell down Nicholas's cheek as he thought about his baby son. "I will see you before that, I promise you!" He vowed, wiping away his tears. I wish there was no December. He thought to himself. Christmas trees, holly, tinsel and Santa Claus! They mean nothing to me! The next thing he knew, he was asleep. He was about to dream...

He was walking along Main Street. There were numerous shops and stores. The place was London, the year 1860. It was Christmas time. Children gathered in groups to sing carols for weary Christmas shoppers. Suddenly he saw her. He saw an angel !
