part 3 (Conclusion) NICK'S CHRISTMAS ANGEL
Adult

He thought his heart would stop as he saw the vision before him. She was a spirit, and she was his lover. "Merry Christmas, Nicholas!" She greeted him in her same sweet voice. "Donamarie, is it really you? Do my eyes deceive me? I must be dreaming again!" "If I am, I never wish to wake up!"

"No, Nicholas, you are not dreaming, for I am really here."

"Donamarie, you are still as lovely as the last time I saw you!" He exclaimed. His heart swelled with love as he looked at her. She rose from her chair. She reached for him. "I have missed you for so long, Nicholas." "Each year, when Christmas comes, I remember our Christmas, Nicholas. I remember the precious gift you gave to me, the gift of our child. How I wish I had lived, and our child had been born." She said through her tears.

"I have wished that a thousand times, my love." He told her. He embraced her spirit form. "Appear to me in human form!" He commanded her. Slowly but surely, her form started to change. He saw her beautiful blue eyes, her raven black hair, and her red rose lips. To his amazement and delight, she was wearing her wedding dress! She was now in human form. He took her in his arms and kissed her over and over again.

"Yes, Nicholas, I will be with you tonight!" "Please do not let me leave this earth without you! We have been parted for so very, very long! You have always been my one true love, Nicholas! Please never leave me! Take me with you, wherever that may be!

"I shall even go in darkness for you, my love, for I cannot live without you!" She then continued, while Nicholas looked spellbound by her presence. "Once, so very long ago now, you asked me to join you in the powers of darkness. I did not, at that time. I have learned to regret that, my love." "I shall be with you tonight, Nicholas. Please take me with you, and may you never let me go!"

Nicholas could not believe his good fortune! His lady love had retutned to him! 'You are now alive again, Donamarie! I shall take you with me! You shall meet my Master soon!" He told her.

'Yes, I should like that, Nicholas!" She was breathless as she spoke.

Nicholas spoke two words, he swore he would never speak. He looked into her beautiful blue eyes, and said to her, "Merry Christmas, my dear!"

"Nicholas, will you marry me?" She asked him.

Again he gazed at her. He had so much love in him! 'Yes, Donamarie, I shall marry you!" He replied.

"Merry Christmas, my darling Nicholas!" She told him as he kissed her sweetly.
