"You have done well my servants!"
"Why....why we we summoned here?" The spirits asked.
"Why did you disturb our rest? Why...why?" Asked the spirits.
Nicholas replied, 'You were summoned this night because........ I wanted to impress this young lady!" The spirits grew angry at this. They became very angry! They started pulling at Victoria. They were going to take her with them!"
"Nicholas! Please help me!" "Don't let them take me!"
"You will stop now!" He commanded. 'You shall leave Victoria alone! Now I command you to return to your graves! Return to your graves now, or you shall wander this earth as lost spirits, never to rest, for all eternity!" "Return now, for your time is growing very short!"
The spirits left her, and the voices were beginning to fade. They were leaving them now. The cold was gone now, too. It appeared the room was back to normal. "Nicholas, how frightened I was!" Victoria confessed. Nicholas remained standing. His index finger was pointing to the corner of the room. Suddenly, there was a growling noise, coming from the corner of the room. A dim light shone above the creature. It was a werewolfe! Vicki screamed at the sight! He began to approach her. Closer, closer he came to her! "Nicholas, help me!" She screamed. Just as the creature was about to attack her, Nicholas waved his magic hand, and the creature disappeared.
Then she heards a familiar voice, a friendly voice, coming from somewhere in the room. "Here I am, Vicki." He said. She turned in the direction of the stairs, and saw him. It was Barnabas Collins.
"Hello, Barnabas," She greeted him cheerfully.
"Don't go to him, Vick!" Nicholas told her.
"But it's only Barnabas! He is my friend!" She answered. She started walking towards him. Barnabas smiled at her. He embraced her. She looked at his handsome face. After a few moments, she could see his face began to change. He began to look evil! He opened his mouth, and she could see he had fangs! He was about to go for her neck! Vicki screamed as he was about to descend upon her throat!
"Begone, Barnabas!" Nicholas commanded. "You will not attack Vicki this night!" "You shall go now!" Nicholas ordered him. The vision of Barnabas quickly faded.
"Nicholas, I don't think I can take anymore of this! I'm shaking like a leaf!" She told him.
'You asked for this, remember my dear?" Nicholas informed her. He walked over to her. He took her in his arms. He ran his fingers through her long hair. All at once, he grabbed a handful of her hair, and pulled it slightly. "Do you still like the warlock, do you still like Nicholas Blair?" He asked, looking deep into her eyes. She looked into his handsome face, and into his dark eyes.
'Yes, I do, very much like you, Nicholas, but you are hurting me!" She told him. He let go of her pretty hair. He gave her a dazzling smile. "I think you really have become, Nicholas." Alexandra told him in wonder.
"How about something fun, my dear?" He asked her. His eyes began to sparkle with excitement. "Come with me, to the center of the room. Now, let me hold you tightly. We must close our eyes, and think of the lake." They closed their eyes and concentrated. When they opened their eyes, they were indeed at a beautiful lake. It was growing dark now. They were the only two people on the lake this night. They could hear the night birds calling in the growing darkness. The water around them was very still, it made little ripples, here and there. Two frogs jumped from one lily pad to another. Vicki watched them as they jumped. Nicholas watched Vicki. "Shall we give them names, Vicki?" He asked. "The first frog is Vicki, the second is Nicholas, chasing after her." They laughed after he told her this. 'You are so lovely when you laugh, Vicki, you should really laugh more often, you know." He stated.
'Well, I really haven't had much to laugh about lately, I'm afraid." She said.
"Well, let's do something about that, Vicki!" Nicholas suggested. "How would you like to fly, Vicki?"
"Fly, where would we go?" She asked in wonder.
'We shall fly all over this town, my dear...you and I !" His eyes were sparkling once again.
'Yes, Nicholas, it sounds wonderful! But where is your airplane, Nicholas? Vicki asked.
"Airplane? Nicholas Blair does not need an airplane! Hold my hand, my dear." Suddenly, they were transported up, up into the dark sky.
