Adult PLAY NICHOLAS, FOR ME
"Would anyone like a drink?" Alex asked. "I think we all could use one about now.
Both men said, Yes, and make it strong."
She served them scotch-on- the rocks. "What a terrible nightmare this has been!" Alexandra said. "It started out so innocently, if only I had known." Alexandra said.
"Please do not trouble yourself with that again, Alex." Humbert said. "Thanks, Nicholas, for coming to our rescue." He said. 'We all could be burned to a crisp by now!" Humbert said. "Was it you, Nicholas, who caused me to perform those feats of magic?" Humbert asked.
Nicholas sat there, with a grin on his handsome face. "Well now, what do you think, Humbert?" He asked.
'Yes, it had to be you!" He said. "Yes, my good man, it was I. I watch out for you both, you know." Nicholas stated.
"And we both love you for that!" Alexandra exclaimed. She filled Nicholas's glass once more. She looked at the the two handsome men on her sofa, and thought how lucky she is. Then another thought crossed her mind, tonight she will be alone, all alone in this apartment. Maybe, after the fiendish events of this nightmare day, and the alcohol, they would fall asleep here in her living room." She thought. Then I would not be alone.She thought once more.
'Well, tommorrow it is back to work, for both of us!" Humbert remarked.
Nicholas had a twinkle in his eyes at this moment. 'And for me, too!" He remarked, looking at Alexandra.
'What? What are you talking about?" She asked in wonder. "Do you mean to tell me you've been working with us all this time?" Humbert has not been playing duel roles? It's been you playing Nicholas?" She was astonished by this revelation. 'How come I didn't know about you, Nicholas? Humbert, why didn't you tell me?" She asked in awe.
'Can't I have any secrets, my dear? Don't you know I like to shroud myself in mystery? Don't you know, my dear, that we have surprise waiting for you?" Nicholas remarked.
"Why, whatever do you mean?" She asked them both.
Humbert took her pretty hand, and kissed it lightly. "I shall spend the night with you, Alex." He told her.
Nicholas walked over to her, and whispered in her ear, "And I shall keep the demons at bay, my dear. I shall guard your home tonight." Nicholas informed her.
Her heart swelled with joy as she heard this!
She lie in bed that night, with Humbert by her side. He kissed her over and over again, as their passions rose, higher and higher. She quickly found her gown was missing, as anxious hands relieved her of it quickly. Humbert looked into her lovely face. "I love you, Alexandra, will you play Victoria, for me?" He asked her.
She returned her answer to him, as she looked into his handsome face, and wondrous eyes, 'Yes, I shall play Victoria for you. Please do not change who you are, my love, stay as Humbert, for me." She asked him. He kissed her tenderly, and her heart was so filled with love, she thought it burst inside her.
Nicholas sat in the dark living room this night. No panthers, Angelique, or Diabolos would enter this home tonight. He sat in the chair tonight, and thought of Donamarie. My, how his heart ached for her this night.
