Donamarie stares into the face of Nicholas Blair, as tears fall upon her beautiful face. "So you are telling me, that I must die in order to be with you, Nicholas! Well, I cannot do that, my darling!! I will not die! I will not die, Nicholas! Even though I love you so, I shall not die to be with you!" Donamarie informs him.
Donamarie runs to her room. She collapses on the bed and cries bitterly.
A few minutes go by, and her lover Nicholas enters the room. He approaches her gently. He wipes away her tears with his handkerchief. He kisses her trembling lips, tasting of salt from her tears.
"Oh Nicholas, I am so afraid!! I do not want to die, Nicholas!! But I do love you! With all my heart and my soul I love you, Nicholas Blair!" She tells him.
"I know that you do, angel. You show me every day how much you love me! I have never known a more powerful love than yours, my Donamarie." He tells her.
He lifts her delicate chin. "If you wish me to leave, then I will angel. I shall never forget my woman with the raven hair, and the most beautiful blue eyes." Nicholas proclaims.
The two lovers make love to one another. They are lost in each others kiss. They are so much in love with one another. They cannot bear to be apart from one another. Yet that doubt and that fear of the dark unknown, seems to come between them. Though Donamarie loves him so very much, his dark world scares the life out of her. She wants to love, and live.

The next day is Donamaries' birthday.
The two lovers begin the day with a morning kiss,
which soon turns into a great rush of passion. Soon, the bed begins to rock
with the fury of their lovemaking. Donamarie screams her lovers name as he loves
her and fills her with ecstasy
and joy!

Nicholas and Donamarie spend the day shopping. Whatever the lady desires, Nicholas buys for her.
In a small, but elegant shoppe, Donamarie finds a porcelain statue of an angel with hair of ebony, and eyes of blue. She picks it up, and stares at the statue. "Nicholas, do you think she looks like me?" She asks him sweetly.
Nicholas looks curiously at the statue. His eyes widen as, he too, notices the striking resemblance. 'Why yes, it is amazing how much she resembles you, angel. You're taking that home with you, my dear." Nicholas tells her.
Nicholas leans closer to her. He whispers in her ear. "Let's go to dinner now, my dear." He says to her, as he whisks her away from the shoppe.
The handsome couple enjoy a wonderful dinner. They dine on roast beef, oven- roasted potatoes, and orange-glazed carrots. Nicholas orders the best champagne.
"Have I told you how absolutely beautiful you look today?" Nicholas exclaims to her. Donamarie begins to chuckle. "Oh my Nicholas, if you've told me once, you've told me ten times today! She gives him a loving smile.
"How old are you today, Donamarie?" Nicholas asks her.
She looks at him, and her blue eyes begin to sparkle and shine. "I am old enough to date you, Nicholas Blair." She replies with a smile. "And how old are you, my Nicholas? Are you old enough to date, too?" She asks him.
Nicholas grins at her. "Yes, my dear. Let's just say I am "old enough".

Later that evening, Nicholas asks Donamarie one last time to go away with him, and to be with him forever. She tells him sadly, that she cannot be a part of his dark world, and she is terrified to die!
With tears in her blue eyes, as she looks in his so dark, she tells him she loves him. She will always love him. Her bottom lip trembles as she speaks to her lover, and as her heart breaks in two.
"My Nicholas, if you denounce your powers of darkness, will you come back for me, my dark angel?" She asks him as her face is streaked from her tears.
Nicholas looks into her eyes so blue, and attempts to dry her tears with his handkerchief. "My dear, I doubt that will ever happen. But if it should, then you shall find me in your bed once again, and ready to make love to you passionately once again."
"Please consider doing that, Nicholas. Please do it for me, my darling, and for us." She tells him, as she caresses his cheek.
That night, the two lovers made love endlessly, as they scream each others name. Just as the dawn is breaking, the two lovers finally gave in to sleep.
When Donamarie awakens, three hours later, Nicholas Blair is gone.
She finds a note on her pillow. She opens it and reads aloud. "I love you, my sweet angel". It is signed by her lover, Nicholas.
Donamarie stares at the note, as her tears quickly fall upon it. She grabs her left hand, and looks at the ring he gave her, as the emerald and diamonds now become a blur. She looks through her tears at the ring he gave her, and she cries for her lost love, that sadly, can never be.
