Subj: In the Dark -- 4

Episode 4: Maggie visits Joe at the hospital.
It's now 8:00pm. Joe is laying down in his hospital bed in a coma. Maggie walks in and see's Joe laying there looking dead. Maggie's eyes start to water. She walks towards his bed and sits down next to him. She then holds his hand. All of a sudden she is quick to notice a dead spider on his chest. The spider is attached to a chain around his neck. Maggie freaks when she sees it. She knows that Joe doesn't like spiders so she lifts his head and takes the chain off. She holds the chain with an iky look on her face and throws it in the garbage. All of a sudden Joe screams in a whisper.
Joe: "Noooooooo!!!"
Maggie jumps when she hears that and runs to Joe.
Maggie: "Joe, are you awake?"
Joe doesn't respond. "What kind of sick person gave you that chain," Maggie says to herself. Maggie isn't to pleased about this and decides to call Barnabas. She picks up the phone and dials his number. She stands there and waits for him to answer. No one picks up. She then dials Julia's number and she picks up.
Julia: "Hello"
Maggie: "Hello Julia"
Julia: "Oh Maggie, how are you holding up? Is there anything I can do for you?"
Maggie: "No, I just wanted to ask you something."
Julia: "What is it?"
Maggie: "I know that you and Barnabas were here today visiting and I was wonder if one of you guys gave Joe a chain with a dead spider attached to it."
Julia: "No, Barnabas and I didn't bring Joe anything. What kind of a person would bring Joe a chain with a dead spider on it?"
Maggie: "A sick one. I'm going to the nurses desk to find out who else was here today. I'll call you If I find out who did it. See you tommorow."
Julia: "Ok, bye"
Maggie hangs up the phone. Maggie looks at Joe and walks out the room to the nurses desk. While Maggie's away Joe's foot slowly starts to move. All of a sudden the lights are shut off in the room. Then the window opens and someone climbs through it and enters the room. This person points to the door and uses their powers to close the window shades on the door and locks it so no one can get in. Then the person lights a match revealing the person's face to be Angelique.
