Episode 5: Angelique taunts Joe
Maggie arrives at the nurses desk.
Maggie: "Excuse me Miss, but do you know how many visitors Joe Haskell had?"
Nurse: "I'll have to check up on it."
The nurse looks through a couple of papers and finds one and reads it.
Nurse: "Joe Haskell had only 2 visitors today. Maggie looks stunned.
Nurse: "Miss is there something wong?"
Maggie: Oh, no, nothing is wrong. If Barnabas and Julia didn't give that chain to Joe then who did, Maggie asks herself. Back in Joe's room Angelique watches Joe lay there helplessly. She walks to the right side of Joe's bed with the match and a candle in her hand. She then lights the candle and holds it in her hand.
Angelique: Hello Joe. Sorry I had to cause that car accident, but I couldn't let you tell anyone about what you saw me doing on Widows Hill. Whats that your thinking? Oh you don't want me to hurt Maggie. I must get rid of her because she resembles Josette. Josette is my worst enemy. Josette tried to stop me and she payed dearly for it. I pushed her off Widows Hill in 1795. At that time I wasn't that poweful so that's how I had to kill her, but now Judah Zachery gave me god like powers so I'm more powerful than a witch. I also see the way Barnabas looks at Maggie. Thats another reason why I have to get rid of Maggie. Barnabas and Josette were sweethearts and when he looks at Maggie he sees Josette. I will not allow Barnabas to be with another women. Joe, don't think you can come out of this coma and try to save Maggie because I wont let you."
Maggie leaves the nurse's desk and walks towards Joes room. When she gets there she turns the door handle but it wont open. She bangs on the door hoping that another nurse will open it, but no one answers. Maggie goes back to the nurse's desk and asks the nurse for a key to open the door. Luckly she has a set of keys in one of the draws. The nurse opens the draw and looks for the key with Joe's room number on it. She finds it and pulls it out. She then hands it to Maggie.
Nurse: "I'm not even suppose to be doing this."
Maggie: "Thank you so much."
Maggie takes the key and runs to the door. Inside Joes room Angeligue can hear the door being unlocked and quickly blows the candle out and heads for the window. Maggie unlocks the door and opens it. When she enters the room she can see someone running towards the window.
Maggie: "Stop right there."
Angelique pauses and has her back turned to Maggie.
Maggie: "What do you think you're doing?"
