Gazing from the top of Widow's hill, Nicole began to contemplate whether or not she had even made the correct decision to reveal her dream of horror about Woodard to Barnabas and Julia. She told herself she had reacted without thinking the situation through. What she hadn't done further examination of the situation.which in turn may have caused pain for them all. She was heartbroken and was in torment about Woodard, almost wanting to throw herself off the cliffs. That was the point in case. Woodard was a soul that died without a cause or was it?
Then she looked into what a man Woodard was. Nicole saw a vision that went further than 1967. It began with the Oracle.
1957
In most evil corner of the dark forces of Hades, Diabolos and Nicholas Blair looking at the fires of Hades, saw a vision told by a oracle of the forthcoming birth of a child and her ancestors, who would be so powerful against the evil of Hell they would be able to combat the sinister forces of evil and be able to protect the Collins family. Nicole was named as the child. Diabolos and Blair in horror discussed the necessity of turning this child to the dark forces of Hades and become their ally rather than a threat. The other way to do this they decided was to abduct the child young and raise her in Hades.....
Those former ancestors of Collinwood had continued to wail to the heavens and prayed for protection for her son Barnabas and the Collins family whose lives through time had been a raging torment and wave of doom and disaster stemming from Josette, Naomi, Sarah. Divine intervention heeded the cries of a wailing mother, and answered them. The Collins family was destined to have their ancestors prepared to deal with the supernatural evil. Naomi cried for her son---- Her prayers were answered. Barnabas was predestined by fate to end up with Julia Hoffman, who by that union would carry the Collins to a high state its never known. Julia possessed courage, and the character of conviction, love and loyalty, characteristics of long term making that would make a family strong in the end and thrive in the realms of the human spirit.
1960
Nicole is three years old. The Woodards had been married for seven unhappy years. Both met at medical school, married young, and in an very unhappy existence. Julia had a domineering controlling father, Dr. Carl Hoffman who pushed these two young doctors into a marriage because of social status. They however, were both very unhappy, Julia became withdrawn and buried herself into her medical work as well as Woodard. With the exception of Nicole, and medicine they had little in common nor communicated. Dave would look and stay away basically all he could. Julia in a loveless marriage, and a domineering father, had buried herself between Nicole and a career. Dr. Carl Hoffman already had planned for the three year girl to become a career doctor. That as far as he was concerned was the only goal in life for this child, none other. So the existence, was rather an unhappy one. Dr. Carl Hoffman, head of one of Boston's prominent medical hospitals had raised Julia as a child to think of only one thing becoming a doctor.
Emotionalism was discouraged and had not been nurtured in a family environment since Julia had lost her mother as a small child. However, around Nicole, Julia projected love and attention upon her daughter. As far as she was concerned, Nicole was the only salvation for her miserable existence. Julia loved medicine, but being around Dr. Carl Hoffman made anyone loathe any passion in life. He constantly threatened to disinherit Julia if would not do his bidding. One constant threat after another, she gave into her father.
