Nicole sat in the drawing room of the Old house with her parents crying and is begging for her father's forgiveness. Barnabas is totally confused, but in the course of conversation found out Nicole is having guilt feelings for the whole situation about Woodard. Barnabas took charge and assured Nicole that this indeed was not the case. Nicole now became calmer and continued to have visions of the Oracle. Besides, seeing herself kidnapped, she also saw the face of a handsome tall man with dark hair and eyes, with a aura of passion named Charles William Collins. But his figure is quite faint for right now. What had also been shown was that Barnabas still had retained some of his supernatural powers yet he did not know it. Nicole saw herself as the one of the defenders of the Collins family in the future, but her parents would always been involved somehow.
Nicole was thinking of her mother Julia, how extraordinary she was having the courage surpassed in almost any situation. Most people when it concerned love or the supernatural would have been frightened and avoided the situation entirely. But it had been Julia's fortitude that carried her though all kinds of disasters dealing with the supernatural that most of the Collins were obtuse about. But Julia being clam, inquisitive, logical , persistent, and brave countered such events. That was something Nicole need great training in, for although she was a passionate creature, she was totally convinced she would not be as strong as Julia in similar circumstances. She wondered how a plain modern mortal could be this way. Actually, Julia was calm about Nicole's situation and thought the only solution on how best to proceed was to treat it normally. For the Collins family always seemed to have a history of tragedies. It just seemed to follow. All of them had a big day and Julia told Nicole that they would discuss this tomorrow.
