The Old House (Four years Later)
Barnabas was in the drawing room of the Old House With his eyes starry-eyed and bright, was in the midst of a usual oral recitation of love to Julia. What differed from this time, was a tug by his pant side by a small dark hair haired little boy , who was begging for his grandfather to hold him in his arms. Julia, elated, was lovingly admiring the scene between grandson and grandfather.
Barnabas replied, "Bryon, once again, repeat what you heard me say."
The little boy tried to repeat the words
"Never Without you I pray to tell
Never Without you do I see the sky
Never without you I extol the moon
And yonder of realm of all heaven
Of days in our eternity gone by."
Bryon got that far, repeating what Barnabas had said and looked at Julia, when he said it.
Love had gone passed into the third generation with Bryon Miles Collins.
Unto the generations the Collins saga was known to be continued.....
