How correct Justin was in his analysis that there was no escape from his mother Julia. Julia and Justin had always been close and rarely had any conflicts. However with the new influence from Nicole, conditions were changing in the Collins family. Zachary, the other twin, was totally quiet on all account and more or less settled into the background on this whole affair and refused to get involved. Although, he knew of his brother's plans, he neither endorsed them nor reported them to his parents. Zachary was very gentle, logical, and full of intellectual curiosity about things in life at the age of sixteen. He was a not identical twin, about 5:8 in height, with brown hair, and he had Julia's face and eyes, but not her hair, he actually resembled Nicole in many respects. He loved Nicole but for a young man had uncanny wisdom and insights into the various perils of Collinwood. For he had been raised on tales of the supernatural from his parent's own lips and the lessons they had learned. He was taught about the importance of the Collins heritage and the need to protect the family, and if any action was needed with the supernatural one must take caution if possible. He rarely acted on whims. His major interests were astronomy, the sea, music, art, the sciences, the classics, and poetry. However, he was very devoted to his parents, both his father and his mother and always loved both of them greatly. In his younger years, he was a very timid boy. And somehow as he got older he was devoted to his parents, wise for his age, and started to show more enthusiasm especially with regard to the humanities and the recitation of them in front of friends and family. He was thoughtful and very considerate in the Collins Household and often helped his father with Byron or any errands that either of his parents needed to be done. He was very watchful of that for them. He had already begun to work part time at Wyndcliffe as an orderly and follow his mother around watching her work as a doctor, for he loved medicine and wanted to follow in Julia's footsteps. He was proud of his mother's devotion to medicine. However, on the other hand, he was as equally proud of his father, and spent hours with him and Peter Halstead in discussions over the humanities, as well as Nicole. He too. It had been the conversation of Justin telling Zachary about going back into the past, that was overheard by their stern father Barnabas. Zachary was at a loss of words when he father walked in and had overheard their conversation.
