Justin Collins looked into the face of an older era
he was not familiar with. The stairs led him to a certain destination of a time
long ago. He walked away from the West wing, and viewed particular things with
awe. In one room not too far distant, he saw the garb of clothes from what appeared
to be in the 1800's. But what time exactly was he in, next to a suit of clothes
appeared to be an old newspaper and appeared the date October 3, 1840. He remembered
his father telling him stories of this time of Gerard , Valerie as Angelique,
Roxanne, Quentin, Laslo, And of a mortal enemy Trask. He realized he had come
into a most difficult time and if his calculations were correct, his mother
and father were here to from 1971 to save Collinwood from the evil presence
of Judah Zachary. He realized that what his father Barnabas said was true. Going
back into the past could alter things in the future. He would have to be careful
to avoid coming into contact with anyone in the present. He would have to think
of somewhere at Collinwood to hide , which at this time would not be easy, Flora
lived at Rosewood Cottage, Angelique was at the Old House, and the new house
at Collinwood had Gerard, equally more dangerous. He couldn't get in the way
of his parents, Julia or Barnabas' venture to save Collinwood in 1971, What
a mess he had gotten himself in now , But he did know of some of the family
treasures and hiding places at Collinwood. He would just have to find one. But
the surprising thing is he looked identical to Barnabas , it would be quite
surprising if no one would recognize him as a relation to Barnabas., he looked
that much of a youthful clone of his father. And it was in this time
, he wasn't sure if his father had been cured by Angelique of the vampirism
or he still was a vampire, Or if anyone else lurked around as a vampire. So
he took the clothes from the room , put them on, and proceeded through hidden
doors at Collinwood to leave the house. He went into the woods, and knew despite
Angelique was there to proceed to certain hidden parts of the house, where he
had played for as a child hoping that Angelique would not find him . For if
she did, she would surely inflict some horror upon him. He was sure of that
he never trusted her.
Back at present day Collinwood at the Old House, Julia
went into Justin's room to talk to him about going back into time and saw his
note that he was going despite what his parents thought. He gave them the information
that he would be fine and use Quentin's staircase. Julia ,usually logical screamed
and cried with pain. Barnabas hearing his wife's agony , rushed to her aide.
She showed Barnabas the note, he turned in anguish and horror, fear now upon
his face. He saw his wife's pain, and turned to comfort her, while anger raged
in his soul for inflicting this pain on on beloved Julia. He hated to see Julia
in any pain, and now the whole Collins family was in danger. Julia , while in
Barnabas' arms saw his pain and stopped crying, trying to be steadfast to comfort
him. Both knew , the whole Collins family was in danger, and they had no idea.
But without saying a word , both were determined to go back down Quentin's staircase
to find their son. If they go back would Barnabas revert to vampirism and would
Julia be in danger? They proceeded to the family cemetery and to their horror
they saw a certain grave of someone of their family, Justin Collins, October
15,1840. Both Julia and Barnabas knelt down at their son's grave and cried profusely.
Their was no other choice. Arrangements would be made for Zachary to stay with
Elizabeth and watched closely. They would go back into time to save their son's
life and the Collins family at the same time. They prayed that in the interim
their son
didn't see the room with parallel time and go back into that time for if he
did they couldn't go and save him.
BARNABAS TO JULIA: "YOU'VE SAVED MY LIFE SO OFTEN, I DON'T DESERVE THANKS."
