Never Without You from Barnabas to his wife Julia

"Never Without you I pray to tell
Never Without you do I see the sky
Never without you I extol the moon
And yonder of realm of all heaven
Of days in our eternity gone by.

Within my destiny does life behold
I see you by my side
Courage you display
Wisdom in your heart
Fear you not display
Nor hate Within Your heart.

Behind your virtues
Those that you bestow
Enhance my life for destiny's sake
Lies within the realms of my soul.

Now at last do I see you
In all your true light
Cast beside the moonlight
In the shadow of the night.

I love you and pray tell for you
Your beautiful face
Your brilliant gazing eyes
A true heart untold
Of my enduring love for you
Does My soul does behold.

Never without you
Shall I leave your side
Your are my life, my hope, my passion
For eternity shall you be forever in my heart.

This was the poem Barnabas long ago had wrote for his wife when they wed in 1971. The Collins children had been educated in detail on the purpose behind the poem and its meaning. Barnabas in this poem had proclaimed his love to his wife Julia, and also the virtues that Julia had of beauty and character in his eyes. He didn't see going through life without his wife. Barnabas had hoped his children would only be so lucky to possess some of Julia's character traits, for she excelled in them. Lack of fear, wisdom, unconditional love, and courage. Justin, had made a copy of that poem long ago , and carried it in his wallet which was in his pocket.

Justin who was lying helpless in the forest forest during the night was met by another stranger, who saw the young man lying in the woods. That of Barnabas Collins who did not know his son. For this was the Barnabas Collins from 1971, He had just rescued Julia , and returned her to Flora. Barnabas picked up the young man and brought him to the confines of the Old House, rather than at Collinwood because of Gerard's influence. Barnabas, lay the young man down in the drawing room in shock about the wounds on Justin's neck, those of a vampire. Who was this young man he thought, who looked identical to him as a young man. "No, he thought , this is too coincidental,"he thought. But Barnabas felt some strange closeness to this young man that he could not explain and an natural need to protect him. He lay Justin on the chair on the drawing room, and went through Justin's wallet. What he found astounded him. He found information with the name of Justin Collins and the address was that of the old house and the issue date was 1988. It indicated Justin was sixteen and a half. And the other possession he found in Justin's pocket, was a copy of the poem written to Julia. Barnabas read the poem about Julia, his wife? and was in a state of shock. For this Barnabas ,Julia Hoffman was only his friend, not his wife. Could this boy be his. Barnabas, the vampire , had never hoped as much that he would live to see the day where he had a son. This was too amazing to him. But his instincts told him, there was some truth. If he had come from the future. It was certainly possible that this young man had come to. Regardless of who the young man was , Justin needed to be treated by a doctor. So, he proceeded to Flora Collins, as he had done with Julia, and took the boy where he could get rest, a doctor , and protection from a vampire. He knew more than ever, Roxanne, must never rise, for both Julia and the boy would die.

Barnabas lifted the boy in his arms, and headed to Flora Collins home, hoping it wasn't too late for the young boy to be saved from Roxanne Drew.
