Justin Collins, all bloodied from his bitemarks lay practically lifeless in Barnabas Collins arms, as he carried him to Flora Collins home to be taken care of . Julia, was already there, unconscious, weak, with similar type animal marks on her neck.

Barnabas lay the boy on the entrance of Rose Cottage.

"Flora, I am sorry to disturb you again, but this young nephew of mine was attacked in the woods, similar to Julia's attack and he needs medical attention before it is too late . I hope we are not too late already."

"Barnabas, what is your nephew's name?"

"Justin Collins, he is my late brother's son, and he was making his arrival to meet me and his Aunt Julia from England. It was to be a surprise to the Collins family, unfortunately, he was attacked before we could share the happy news with the family."

"Barnabas, take Justin upstairs and lay him in the room next to his Aunt Julia." We will take good care of him and do the best for him we can. He looks like the blood has been drained from him . He is so still and lifeless, and has hardly a heartbeat. I will go and fetch the doctor again for him, I hope its not too late."

"What do you mean? replied Barnabas.

"Barnabas, your nephew seems to be practically on the verge of death , he is that weak, " replied Flora Collins.

Barnabas ,without having Julia's advise, become frantic, and hoped that this young man, who may be related to him somehow maybe his son from the future, or a relative , may become one of the living dead."

Barnabas, carried Justin into one of the spare rooms, and lay the boy down, cleaned him up, and put a gown on him ,and laid him down gently on the bed.

Justin awoke just momentarily, looked at Barnabas, "Father, please get Mother, I dont' feel well, Tell her I am sorry for disobeying you. Father I was bitten by Roxanne Drew and am afraid of becoming a vampire. Please save me father, go
get Mother."

Barnabas, was dumbfounded at this information, looked at the boy and asked, "Justin , who is your mother?"

:"Why Father, you should know that, Dr. Julia Hoffman Collins, your wife,"

With that information , Justin again slipped into the realms of unsciousness.

Barnabas felt a slight pain in his chest from Justin's information. Somehow he believed the boy's story, but was utterly amazed. He, Barnabas the vampire having a son, and having Julia, Dr. Hoffman to him as his wife, This was even more of a revelation to him than he even thought of.

Barnabas , returned to his thoughts , and thought he must save this boy's life. Roxanne Drew would need to be destroyed.

Flora Collins returned with the Doctor.

Barnabas departed downstairs to Roxanne's brother Randall to talk him into the fact that Roxanne was a vampire and needed to be destroyed before Julia or Justin died.

So while Barnabas was preoccupied with Randall. Justin, in his last stages of life died. The doctor announced him dead.

Barnabas had already left with Randall Drew. Flora didn't know how she would tell Barnabas.

Now , Justin, not to anyone but Barnabas would return as one of the living dead. It was too late for him even if Roxanne was destroyed.

Soon , Justin Collins would return as one of the living dead and a threat to Collinwood unless, he was dealt with.
