Barnabas entered the abandoned Old Mill, Justin bore his fangs out toward Barnabas.

"Do not come near me, Barnabas, leave me alone," you can't help me, unless you destroy me and put me out of my misery," replied Justin.

"Justin Collins, I command you to look into my eyes and hear and obey me."

Justin tried to resist Barnabas but found he was powerless.

"Look at me and hear me, young Collins!"

Angrily , Justin looked into Barnabas' dark intent eyes, defiant as and stubborn, but he knew he must comply with Barnabas and he was ashamed he was he considered was a vile creature of the devil.

"What you feel is not important as how you act now. You are a Collins, and as such are subject to try to preserve the Collins name and heritage , despite what type creature you think I have been in my lifetime. You are only beginning to have an understanding of what agony means young man. But soon you will appreciate my position , young Justin. You will hunger for blood, roam the Estate only with uncontrollable thirst for it, not caring whom your victim is. Feel the agony , Justin, of loving every member of your family, destroyed, and being locked up for two hundred years in a coffin. Being locked in a dark cold confined casket, alone, blood crazed. Having a curse on you knowing that every person you loved will die. Living in fear, hunted, belonging to no one and no time. Eternal horror. Running, and hiding , and being hunted. Never having time to live the life of a normal man and know what it is to love and be loved. The idea of love, honor, family, were all foreign to me until I had a glimpse of hope when I met Dr. Hoffman. I have suffered a great deal, she has stood with me and been a faithful friend to me and to the Collins Family. Never forget despite what you think I am, I care for my family, and you should never turn your back on our heritage . You are a Collins, after all, no less."

"Tell me, Justin, what does a Collins mean to you? Turning your back to your family and going the way of the Coward as you wish to. You forget that although you have the curse, Your Mother is there to help and cure you, you seem to forget that important point. You seem to want the easy way out."

"In 1971, when Julia and I came back in 1840, I had the curse, your Mother was not able to cure me. But once, I did live as a normal man, and reverted due to circumstances. Julia stood with me always. The only one to do so. If she is your Mother , you are lucky that you are from her bloodline. And despite our differences on who I have been in love with, Your Mother has stood with me always. Her devotion is eternal, and I will be eternally devoted to Julia always. I will not allow you Justin Collins, to walk as a coward ever, do you hear? If you indeed are from my bloodline and that of Julia's in the future, I will not tolerate such insolence from you ever."

"Your Mother was correct in what she said. Your horrible judgements of me sounds like those of that hypocrite Lamar Trask, and of his father. No son of mine, should espouse such nonsense, do you hear? Never, under any circumstances, shall you sit to judge me. Apparently, your mother taught you never to question such, and for our family to succeed you never must be disloyal to your Mother. I will never accept that. She has sacrificed her life for you and taught you the virtues on how to handle Life. Consider yourself quite fortunate. Remember you are my son, and I will never accept you to hide from you are destined for."

"I want you to stand by your Mother Justin and support her, she is hurting very much from your comments. I believed you hurt her very much. I do not think what damage you have caused is repairable. You may have destroyed part of Dr. Hoffman Collins' heart. I will not stand for that, do you hear , Never!"

"I will never allow you to destroy Julia, nor anyone else to destroy her, young Justin, Understand me and hear me, you shall never be so cruel to her again."

"What my feelings in this time between your mother and I are of our concern not yours, and your Mother is the one to decide her feelings , not you. Am I perfectly clear. Your loyalty should be all with your Mother. I want you to go to her and apologize do you understand? And If I hear you did not I shall give you a good thrashing, you are not too old for such a horrible thing you did to her."

"Now go, and do not be caught and return to me."

"Poor Julia" thought Barnabas. She is hiding the fact she loves me and I in this time am not able to return it to her. I see her pain, and then on top of that her son has the curse, and yet despite all she still loves and defends me. This boy will not go unpunished, and he will adhere to the Collins tradition, and deal with this affliction. He has the love of Julia,and of his sister Nicole Collins."

Barnabas now felt like an outsider in Julia's world, and became sad.

"However sad I am , I now must deal with the other child Nicole Collins. Julia, not only is in a foreign time, but must deal with two defiant children, That will stop immediately.!"

Barnabas himself headed toward Collinwood to speak to Nicole Collins.
