It is daytime in Boston as Barnabas sleeps Julia works on recreating the formula that makes Barnabas human even for a short period of time.
While at Douglas enterprises a small man in a trenchcoat and hat walks right past grants secretary and into Grants Office.
Grant "who in the hell are you and how did you get in here?"
The man hands him a letter then is gone into thin air
the letter says"you are cordially invited to attend a meeting of the hellfire club this evening at 8pm and its in your best interest to attend."
Grant wads it up and throws it in the trash can
Later at 8 Grant is still in his office..
Julia and barnabas are just a block or so from the building when there is a loud crash and a man screamin and a loud thud.
barnabas and Julis rush to the scene amd hears someone say"its Grant Douglas hes dead!"
Barnabas and Julia push into to get a close look
Julia gasps "its not Quentin"
