Second Chance
We see a man in a gray suit a young man out of place.He buys the paper on the front page it reads Collinsport native boy 14 to be executed today for murder--and a picture of Shawn Collins.The man Mr Jones sighs and says "think Im going to be needed"
At the Jail Shawn is waiting for them to come.His father Andrew is begging him "please son tell me what really happened who killed Jeremiah standridge."
Shawn just stands there "it was I dad I did it.Andrew "no it wasnt tell me the truth"now screaming at his son.
Nothing
soon they come and take him out to the gallows.the judge reads the charges and says "any last words"Shawn is silent.
They put the hood and the rope on around his head and soon he opens his eyes.hes in a gazeboo and a beautiful sky and the young man there with a smile he puts out his hand and says "mr Collins welcome"
Shawn " were am I?is this heaven?"Mr Jones "close we have a stop to make first."he takes Shawn into a building its a court room with a Judge behind the desk looking at Shawns file.
The Judge looks at Mr Jones"Him "laughs hes a drunkard a liar hes violent hes immoral you cant even win with him Mr Jones."
JOnes "your honor He did die for someone elses crime that has to mean something?"
The Judge sighs puts down the book"is it not true that you were on your way to standridges house to kill him when word got out that he was dead?"
Jones "tell him the truth Shawn it may help"
Shawn swallows "yes your honor"
The judge looks him in the eye and "since you gave your life for someone else I sentence you to a life sentence."
Shawn "what does that mean?"
Mr Jones " we are giving you a chance to go back into your past and change what has happened"
Shawn "you mean I can stop what had happened to me?"
JOnes sadly"no" as the scene fades away"you have to save the other one then all is well"
The judges voice booms out "You have 3 days mr collins then its going to get very very hot!"
