From: Kim D and Vicki Reed
Quentin is played by Adrien Paul, because of a rumor that they had asked him to play Quentin before the 1991 show was canceled.
The woman in the portrait is Vanessa Williams.
Everyone else is played by the regular 1991 cast.
Victoria was outside that morning, sipping tea as she watched the fog lift;
suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to see Quentin. “Please
say away from me,” she whispered. “I beg you.”
“I just wanted to say good morning...” Suddenly David ran outside, but stopped when he saw Quentin.
“David! Why isn’t Miss. Lyndon watching you?” he shook his head before running back inside.
“She’s going to be helping dad and Aunt Elizabeth with some things. She said I could have today off, since you were going to start teaching me tomorrow.”
“Odd child.” Quentin remarked.
“Not odd,” Victoria said. “He’s a very sad little boy. His mother is in a hospital in England, and his father never pays him any attention.”
“How sad. This whole place seems to have a unhappiness to it, does it not?”
“If you’ll excuse me, I’ll go for a walk now,” she said instead of answering or even acknowledging his question
Vicki felt that she had to get away from Quentin. The memories of last night were too fresh. She walked until she found herself in front of an old shed, without realizing that anything had even happened she had found the Shed where Julia had took Carolyn last night. She stepped inside to the cozy surroundings. The first thing that caught her attention was the portrait. The woman was beautiful, with her dark hair, and bright eyes that seemed to see through you. In the corner was the name of the artist, and the date, Ferdon, 1773.
Julia nervously dialed the phone from the hospital waiting room. Willie was sitting there, with his hand in his head, mumbling about what Barnabas would do when he found out. One ring, then two, then three. “Elizabeth! Pick up!” Finally there was a click. “Hello you have reached Collinwood this is Helen speaking.” Julia was aghast, why in the world would Helen answer the phone.
“Hello? Is anyone there?” Julia hung the phone up in frustration. This situation was too much for her alone; she needed help, desperately. That’s when it dawned on her. Back at NYU there had a man, a professor, he had a several degrees had done extensive work in the filed of folklore. He could help her now. Her knowledge of science and his of spirits would be unbeatable.
She dialed up the school and was put through to his office. “Hello, Professor Stokes speaking, maybe I help you?”
“Professor!” Julia felt a little better already. “This is Dr. Julia Hoffman. And I desperately need your help.”
Dark Shadows is a Dan Curtis Production.
