I found the information on Voo Doo at the following web site:

Plus a few others that I can't remember.
Also remember that in the 1991 show Maggie had psychic abilities.
Maggie was greeted at Collinwood by Julia and Professor Stokes. She saw their
distressed look and asked, "What's happened?"
"Helen has managed to gather everyone here in Collinwood," Julia said. "She
convinced Roger and Elizabeth to come home from the hospital. Then she contacted
Elliot and had him come here. I'm certain she has something planned for tonight."
"We want to go through the ceremony tonight, before anything happens," Elliot
said.
"Are you sure we're ready?" Maggie asked uncertainly.
"No, but I don't see any other choice," Elliot answered. "Come with me, we must
get prepared." Maggie followed Julia and Professor stokes into the drawing room.
Maggie could remember the last time she was in this room. It had been during
the costume ball. They were using an Oji board to answer questions. She could
remember George Patterson asking questions about the identity of the killer,
and Carolyn interrupting before the question was answered. She knew that Carolyn
had been under the vampire's influence. She now wished she had taken the time
to talk to her. They made it to the door to the drawing room when the lights
went out all over Collinwood. Darkness seemed to permeate the house like a dense
fog. Julia shivered, as a chill seemed to go through the whole house.
Maggie looked up as if she was seeing something. "There's something else here,"
she said warily. "I can feel an malevolent presence."
"It's already started," Elliot said. "She's released a spirit."
"What will it do?" Julia asked.
"That depends on which spirit she invoked. There are several she could have
sent, and they each do something different. Come, we'll have to hurry. We'll
need something valuable to offer to the spirit we contact. We'll also need a
powder, like wheatmeal, or cornmeal, and we'll need rum."
They started to walk toward the kitchen when they heard a scream coming from
the second floor. "I'll go check it out," Julia offered and started to walk
toward the steps. "You can start the ceremony."
"Julia wait," Elliot said. "I'll go with you. Maggie can you gather everything
we'll need?"
"Yes. We can start when you come back."
"Maggie, you must be very careful. We don't know what's going to happen tonight."
"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Elliot turned toward the steps where Julia was,
and Maggie continued to the kitchen to find what they would need.
Elliot and Julia followed the screams to Elizabeth's room, where Roger had
just arrived. They found her sitting up in bed staring wide eyed at the opposite
wall. "Liz, what happened?" Roger asked.
"There was someone in my room. He was holding a torch. I thought he was going
to set the room on fire."
"Did you see what he looked like?" Julia asked.
"No, he was only here briefly. He seemed to just vanish. But there was violence
to him, as if he enjoyed brutality."
Elliot listened carefully as Elizabeth talked. When she was finished he felt
that he knew who she had seen. "Mrs. Stodard, with your permission I need to
use something of value to rid the house of the thing you saw."
"Yes," Elizabeth said without hesitation. "Do whatever you must. Just please
get rid of it."
Elliot leaned over to whisper to Julia, "We must find Maggie." As they were
leaving the room he turned back to Roger and Elizabeth and said, "You must be
careful. There are dangerous forces at work tonight in this house."
"Elliot," Julia said when they stepped into the hallway, "you know what this
is don't you?"
"The description that Elizabeth was able to give sounded very much like Dinclinsin.
He's a very dangerous Loa. He's very vengeful. His victims are usually mangled,
burned, and always horrific. This is meant to be a message to all who are close
to the victims. He is always direct. He isn't usually called upon because you
never know what price he may exact for his service. I believe he was trying
to divert our attention away from Maggie and from the ceremony we were to perform.
If he wanted to kill Elizabeth now he could have before we got here. He has
a plan of how he want this done."
Elliot and Julia hurried downstairs afraid of what may be happening downstairs
after Liz's experience with seeing Dinclinsin. They had to hurry to complete
the ceremony before anything else happened. Julia and Elliot called out to Maggie
when they reached the bottom of the steps, but received no answer. They walked
toward the kitchen, where Maggie was supposed to have gone to gather items they
would need for their ceremony. They could feel a suffocating heat as they got
closer to the kitchen, then saw a yellow orange glow when they got even closer.
They turned a corner and saw that the kitchen was on fire.
Elliot and Julia backed away from the blaze. "Elliot," Julia said was mix of
fear and uncertainty.
Elliot looked back at the fire in disbelief. For a long moment he could do nothing
but stare at the flames. His eyes held a haunted remorseful look. It was all
his fault she had been here. How could he have let the happen? Why couldn't
he have done something sooner?
Julia moved to stand directly if front him. "It's not your fault," she said
as if she had read his mind. "There must be something else we can do before
the whole house and everyone is in are destroyed."
"Yes, of course," he said thinking back to everything he had learned during
his travels for something he could use. Then it occurred to him. "When I was
studying religions, I had the chance to observe an exorcism. I believe that
will help us get rid of the Loa spirit."
"Isn't that usually preformed by a Catholic priest?"
"Yes, so I'm not sure it'll work. But it would take too long to go into find
a priest. The exorcism must start now. I'll have to do it. But we'll need holy
water. Is there a church close by?"
"Yes, there's one a few miles down the road. I'll go get the water." She turned
and left, hurrying out to her car and down the road. Elliot was relieved that
she was out of the house. It was one less person to worry about. He took a deep
breath and started the prayer for exorcism, occasionally making the sign of
the cross as he went.
habitet in eo. Per eumdem Christum Dominum nostrum, qui venturus est judicare
vivos et mortuos, et saeculum per ignem."
There was an immediate response when he finished. An unearthly shriek filled
the whole house. The fire in the kitchen flared hotter and brighter than before.
He started the prayer again and felt himself being pushed against a wall. He
stopped for a moment, amazed by the strength the spirit showed. Elliot backed
away from the heat, still repeating the prayer. He saw a nearby lamp shatter
for no reason. He heard the scream again and felt claws tearing at him. A voice
filled the room, commanding him to stop. He felt himself being pushed to the
floor. He could hear footsteps coming toward him. He looked up in surprise and
saw Maggie coming toward him. Her hair was in disarray and a sooty smudge was
on her cheek. "Maggie," he said in surprise, "I thought you were in kitchen,
when the fire started." Elliot rose to his feet.
"No," Maggie answered, "I got out just in time, but I couldn't get anything
you needed."
"That's alright. I have another idea." He told her what he was trying to do.
"What do you want me to do?"
Julia quickly made her way to the church. She had no trouble retrieving the
water and hurried back to Collinwood. When she entered the house she was immediately
hit by a wave of heat and the acrid smell of smoke. She went inside and found
Elliot in the drawing room with Maggie. Elliot turned at her entrance. "Julia,"
he said, "did you get it?"
"Yes," she said handing him the small bottle of water.
Elliot took the bottle and sprinkled the water around the room. First there
was only silence. Anxiousness filled the room. Could it have worked? Then the
darkness faded away and the lights came back on. "It's gone," Maggie announced.
For a moment a calm stillness fell on Collinwood. Those inside the house were
at peace. In the nearby woods all was still. There was no longer any sign of
Angelique either in the woods or anywhere else. Her room was now empty. She
disappeared as if she had never even came to Collinwood. The legba she had called
forth took her back with it for revenge. She disturbed his rest and caused him
to face the tortures of exorcism.
But a portion of her destructiveness still remained. At the moment Vicki was
outside with Barnabas.
* The translation for the exorcism prayer is:
"I exorcise thee, every unclean spirit, in the name of God the Father Almighty,
and in the name of Jesus Christ, His Son, our Lord and Judge, and in the power
of the Holy Spirit, that thou depart from this creature of God, which our Lord
hath designed to call unto His holy temple, that it may be made the temple of
the living God, and that the Holy Spirit may dwell therein. Through the same
Christ our Lord, who shall come to judge the living and the dead, and the world
by fire. "
