I stood on the roof of the castle. A faint sound of trumpets seemed to ring in my ears, as thoughts of past glories came to mind. This castle had been built several thousand years ago by my ancestors. It had protected the North family from all enemies, with it's roof as high as the clouds.

"I thought that you would be here."

I turned and gazed upon Angelique. She looked stunning as always, wearing a green cloak that seemed to make her blond hair even more beautiful, with those blue eyes that shined like the morning star. A pity that her heart could be so cold. "Yes, I come here to think," I said, gazing over the side of the wall, thinking about the distance to the ground below.

"Yes, I know you, Victor," she said smiling. "I have made my decision."

A chill ran down my spine. "And what decision is that?" I asked, knowing the answer but dreading it.

"I have decided what to do with your lovers," she replied. "Xena shall be made to return to her evil side, and become a handmaiden to Diabolos, inflicting torments to the damned in Hades. Scully shall be made into a vampire, put in a casket and dropped into the deepest part of the ocean, to suffer for a thousand years. Seven of Nine shall be returned to the Borg collective. She will have the pleasure of becoming a drone again, but this time forever."

"Sadistic bitch," I said. As those words left my mouth, I felt such a rage, I moved quickly, using every bit of my powers as a vampire. I pushed my lovely Angelique over the edge of the roof to die on the rocks below.

It was almost a minute before she struck the ground, because the castle is so high. My vampire ears could hear a thud, but they also heard something else, the sound of laughter. A sound that filled my soul with sheer terror.
