cut to interview

SR: Hello, I want to thank you all for doing this interview.

Ashely Judd: Thank you for having us.

Michelle Pfeiffer: Thank you.

SR: First of all I want to ask you Susan, want was it like to work with Clive Robertson again after the cancelation of the soap opera Sunset Beach?

Susan Ward: I was very glad to be working with him again, but I enjoyed working with all the actors in this movie. I got to make a lot of new friends.

SR: Michelle you play Angelique Bouchard, the Collins family thinks that she was a witch, what do you think after playing her?

Michelle Pfeiffer: I think that she must have had to begin somewhere and it must have been a nessecity, but I think that once she had the taste of evil she couldn’t go back.

SR: So you think that she practiced witchcraft to survive.

MP: In the beginning, but once she began with the Collins, I don’t think she had any self control to what she was doing, she just wanted what she couldn’t have.

SR: Ashley you have two role in Collinwood.

Ashley Judd: Yes, I play Maggie Evans and Josette duPrés Collins, they are identical, Maggie is from the present and Josette is from the past.

SR: Was it hard to play two characters?

AJ: Yes and no, both characters are very different, but it was great as an actress. The hardest part was remember who I was during a sceen.

SR: You had to learn French for the role of Josette didn’t you? *

AJ: Yes I did, that was hard too, but I had a great time, I’m pretty good now.

SR: Susan, you play Victoria Winters, she wrote the journals that inspired the movie. What was it that interged you to the story?

SW: I think it was the mystery of it all that captivated me, but it was also the romance of it all.

SR: Are you like Victoria in anyway?

SW: No, I don’t think there’s much we have in common, but I think that I can do a better job if we arn’t alike.

SR: Mnea before we go to some clips I want to ask you, after the success in your recent films, why did you pick this as your next project?

Mena Suvari: I wanted to do something different from what I had been doing. I’ve been playing a high school student, so this was a pleasent change. The story caught my agents eye and when he showed it to me I was really intrigued by it.

SR: What would you say was the best experience of making movie was for you?

MS: Well, I’d have to say was working with such great actors. I feel so privilged to be able to work with Elizabeth Taylor.

SR: She plays your mother?

MS: Yes, they have a complex relationship, there is love, but Carolyn doesn’t understand her, because of the secret her mother has been keeping.

SR: Thank you. When we come back we will see a clip of the movie. Then Pat O’Brian will be taking us to Collinsport to talk to members of the Collins family.
