Izzy came went to the bedroom door and locked it.

"Why did you do that?" Quentin asked from the bed.

"I don't know. I guess it's just everything that Marge told me."

"About Tom?"

"Yes, do you believe her?" Quentin asked sitting up as she sat down beside him.

"I don't know, I guess so. Do you?"

"Well I never knew Marge to lie, but come on baby, does Tom look like the kind of guy that would kill someone?"

"Well no, but I don't know what it is, I just have this feeling that it's true.

"Dickie was never the man that Marge thought he was, we both know that."

Izzy know that all too well. Dickie had shown his true side to her more than once, she never told Quentin that of course.

"And what about Freddy Miles. Why would Tom kill him? What was his motive be?"

"If Marge is right then Freddy found out Tom killed Dickie and he confronted him about it," Izzy said.

"Well I don't think anyone is missing Freddy Miles, he was a real pig," Quentin said pulling Izzy close to him.

"No Quentin, not now," Izzy said.

"Do you think he's out in the hall listening to us?" Quentin asked.

"No, but how can you think of making love now?"

"I don't know, it seems like a good idea to me," Quentin said.

Tom moved back towards his own room. He looked around expecting to see Freddy Miles; grinning at him like he did the time he caught Tom watching Dickie and Marge make love on Dickie's boat Bird.

But that was impossible, Tom had killed Freddy, he knew too much, he knew what Tom really was, he knew that Tom had done something to Dickie, what else could he do? He threatened him; he was just defending himself. If Freddy had stayed away Dickie would have stayed his friend and he would be alive.

Tom didn't want to know if Quentin was having sex with Izzy, he just couldn't help himself, he had to know what Marge had told them.

Quentin seemed to disbelieve what Marge had told them, but Izzy wasn't so sure, did he have to worry?

Marge was gone, she told Quentin and Izzy that she was going to England, she told them that she was supposed to met Peter Smith-Kingsley, but she hadn't received word from him. He was supposed to be in Rome. What would she do when she heard that he was dead? Would she go to the detective, when she heard that there were some rumors that Dickie was responsible? He wouldn't believe her, he thought just as Dickie's father that Dickie was responsible for everything, and that he had killed himself. Dickie had that reputation, but Marge wouldn't believe it, she loved Dickie too much.

Peter's death would go on unexplained, except from Meredith she knew Tom was there, except to her she wasn't Tom, he was Dickie. So he was safe for the time begin that is. He wondered if he would see Meredith again, Izzy had told him that his past would come back to haunt him. And he feared that this was far from over.
