Josette sat in shock. How does Sarah know this? She thought.
"He came to you last night didn't he?" the girl asked.
"How could you know this Sarah?" Josette asked the girl fervently.
"I saw him too, in my dream. He told me that you two were together again," Sarah said. She took Josette's hands, "You must be careful."
"Sarah," Joshua said rushing to his daughter, "What's happening to you?"
Sarah looked deep in Josette's eyes, Josette feared that Sarah would tell her Father about the dream, would that be so bad? Somehow Josette felt that it wouldn't be a good thing if Joshua knew that his son was not dead.
Sarah didn't tell her father about her brother, somehow she couldn't, she wanted to but something prevented her.

Josette got into the car and drove into Collinsport; she had an uneasy feeling. Sarah had come out of whatever it was like it was nothing. Something was not right. It was like she was under some spell.
She pulled into a parking space at the Blockbuster, and ran in. She grabbed The Way We Were and went to the check out line. She didn't really feel up to watching this movie, but she and Peyton watched it all the time together. They knew all of the dialogue so well. She stopped at the store and bought a bottle of wine, and went back to Valrosa, with enough time to change before Peyton would arrive.

"What is it about this movie?" Peyton asked. "I fell in love with Robert Redford, when I was fourteen when I saw this movie, it was the one thing my mother and I could agree on."
"It was that uniform," Josette said. "As much as I love this movie, I never had a thing for Robert Redford, now Sean Connery, that's another story."
"You Only Live Twice. My favorite Bond film."
"My favorite Sean Connery movie has always been Another Time, Another Place."
"That was good, was that before or after Johnny Stompantato?"
"It was released in 1958, and he was killed that year."
"I think all that Hollywood Scandal is so fascinating. There aren't any juicy stories theses days like there were in the past. Look at the Tom Ince case and The Black Dahlia," Peyton said. "How are you doing?"
"All right, I guess I'm still getting used to things. I am glad that my father and Aunt left, I need to be alone for awhile. I don't think I'll go back to Paris, I belong here, I don't think I could give up this house."
Peyton nodded, "Do you want me to stay with you tonight?"
"No I'm fine, I'm just going to take a long hot shower and go to bed. I'll call you tomorrow though."
"You better," Peyton said hugging Josette, "Call me if you need anything."
"I will," Josette promised.

Peyton left Valrosa with a sense that Josette was not doing as well as she said, but that wasn't something that surprised Peyton, she couldn't imagine what it was like to suffer a lose like Josette.
She had seen Josette with Peter Bradford a lot, but when she asked Josette about it, Josette said that they were just friends, and besides, Peter was dating Therésè, who had broke her engagement, when she found out that her fiancé had been cheating while she was in Collinsport.

Josette watched Peyton drive off, when the car was out of sight, she locked the doors and turned off the downstairs lights. She felt her way up the stairs to her bedroom.
She turned on the radio, and heard the end of The Backstreet Boys song The
Shape of My Heart. It reminded her of Barnabas, but what didn't? She fought
back the tears and turned on another station. Robbie Williams' new song came
on.
Go easy on my conscience
'Cause it's not my fault
I know I've been taught
To take the blame
Rest assured my angels
Will catch my tears
Walk me out of here
I'm in pain
As my soul heals the shame
I will grow through this pain
Lord I'm doing all I can
To be a better man
"Josette," said the all too familiar voice that sent chill of excitement down
her spine. She spun around and wrapped her arms around Barnabas.
"I thought I'd never see you again. I thought you were just a dream. But then Sarah told me that you came to her in her dreams."
A strange look passed across his face, "How is she?" he asked.
"She isn't doing well. Your father wants to send her to Wyndcliff. They were going to take her today, but they thought they saw some improvement. It's very strange, she didn't speak for days, but today when I came to see her she just came out of it. It's like she was under some kind of spell."

Joshua closed the door of Sarah's room; he was relieved that there was some improvement, what was going on. He wasn't going to wait much longer before he took her to Wyndcliff, but Naomi begged for a few more days.

A figure entered Sarah's room unseen by anyone; the figure touched Sarah's forehead, Sarah's eyes opened. Her face lit up with recognition.
"Barnabas, you are alive, I knew that you didn't die."
"I could never leave you, my little sister," said Barnabas. His eyes glowed with a strange light that made them look almost as if they were blue. Sarah suddenly knows that something is not right.
"You're not my brother," she cried.
The hand reached out and covered her mouth stifling her cries.
To be continued. . .
