Ben Stokes was awakened by soft kisses, he pulled the body close to him, he was dreaming that Catherine Zeta-Jones came to him saying that she couldn't live with out him, and that she'd give Michael Douglas up. Of course he greeted her with open arms.
He opened his eyes, and the face that he saw made him pull back in horror.
"Ben aren't you happy to see me?" said the beautifully seductive voice.
Ben jumped from the bed leaving Angèlique alone on the bed; she turned and sat on her knees.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" he demanded.
"Do you really have to ask?" she hissed. "You betrayed me, I should kill you now, but that would be too good for you, you deserve to suffer. You made me suffer greatly."
"You deserved everything that happened to you," Ben said.
"Did I?" Angèlique said. "Well before you die I want to tell you how much I have suffered. Did you know that I was pregnant?" Ben looked at her with a look of surprise.
"Don't flatter yourself, Barnabas was the father. He killed my baby, and then his family kept the fact that I was pregnant from me. Is that fair? I don't think so." She stood up and got off the bed and walk up to Ben. "I'm not sorry for what I did, and I'm not sorry about what I've done either. Do you care to know what it is?" she asked running her hands down his chest, and to his pants. She laughed when he tried to hide his excitement. "Barnabas is dead, but he is still walking among the living. It's too bad that you," she stopped short, something in his eyes told her that he knew. "Why he's been to see you hasn't he Ben?" She grabbed his neck. "He hasn't made you like him though, can't bring himself to do what he wants. Oh well in time he will grow to enjoy his position."
"Is that all," Ben snapped.
Angèlique's eyes flashed, the blue looked almost black, "No, what I am about to tell you will make you want to die, I won't be killing you myself, if I did your death would be too quick, and that would be too good for you." She stopped and went to the window; she turned back and asked. "You helped Barnabas see Josette haven't you? Don't try to deny it, I know that already, I watched them make love, it was so sweet. You wouldn't know that the guy could kill so easily if you saw it. He really must love her. Do you think he'll try to make her as he is?"
Ben didn't want to think of that; he worried about that since he took Barnabas to Valrosa.
"Touchy subject? Well I think I made you wait long enough I'm sure your curious to know what I want to tell you. I made a visit before I came here, care to know who I saw?" Angèlique looked at him with a wicked look in her eyes. "I saw Sarah Collins, she seemed to be doing so much better. I went to see her disguised as her dear brother. She was in a great deal of pain, she is the sacrifice for my child."
Ben covered his face with his hands, "How could you do that to her, she never hurt you."
"Your right she never hurt me, but her brother and her parents did. Now," she said circling him, "here's the part that will interest you the most, since it has to do with your death. When her body is discovered, it will look like some intruder, there are no clues that the police will be able to trace to anyone, however, when Barnabas sees the scene, he will realize that you violated and killed his sister. And my dear Ben, he will kill you with no mercy, for vengeance will cloud his judgment and feelings for you, his one friend. He shall be as an Andronicus and avenge his Lavinia."
Angèlique kissed Ben and turned leaving the room, when Ben turned she had disappeared.
Would Angèlique really kill a child? She hadn't seemed like the type of woman that would do something like that before. What was he going to do? He couldn't go to the police, they would want to know how he got the information, and what would he tell them? That a dead witch told him? They would lock him up at Wyndcliff for sure.
And what did she do to that would make Barnabas think that he had done those awful things to Sarah. Ben wiped away tears for the little girl that he had always loved like his own sister.

Josette lay in Barnabas' arms she closed her eyes and sighed. You're still the one that I love, the only one that I dream of. . .
The phone rang, she ignored it, but Barnabas moved, "Are you going to answer it?"
Josette took the phone, "Hello."
"Josette can you come to Collinwood," Joshua said with difficulty.
"Of course, what is it Joshua?" she asked, Barnabas sat up looking at her curiously.
"It's. . . Sarah, she's dead," he said choking.
"Oh God," Josette cried, "I'll be there soon." She hung up and looked at Barnabas.
"What is it Josette? You must tell me? Is it my mother?"
"No Barnabas, it's your sister, she's dead."

Barnabas entered the empty room; evidence kits were around the room, he knew he didn't have much time. He went over to the body; he took one look at the body of his sister and turned away. But something made him turn back; he picked up the earring. If anyone else had seen this they wouldn't have given it one thought. But he recognized it and there was only one person who wore this earring.
He kissed Sarah's forehead before he left the room. Ben Stokes would pay for what he did.

Ben sat in his apartment with the lights off. He knew that it was foolish to think that Barnabas would think that he wasn't home. He turned on the news and the top story was about Sarah's murder.
The reporter said that Sarah Collins' body had been found in her bedroom, she had been raped and killed, the police had no leads. Ben turned off the TV and sat once again in the dark.
Without warning Ben's stereo turned on and Mozart's Queen of the Night Aria filled the room.
The lights were turned on, and before Ben stood Barnabas with the remote in his hand. He tossed it to the couch. The look on his face told Ben everything that Angèlique had said was true.
Barnabas grabbed him by the neck and held him up in the air. "So you like fucking little girls? I will give you the fuck of your life," Barnabas hissed. "Do you have any last words before I kill you?"
Ben knew that there was nothing he could do, "I'm sorry Barnabas. She isn't finished with you yet, not until she kills everyone you love."
To be continued. . .
