"Considering all that has gone on here, I think it would be best if Daniel went back to England with his father," Joshua was saying to Millicent and Nathan.
"I think your right," Nathan said. "Millicent and I will take him back on our honeymoon."
"Thank you," Joshua said. "Would you tell Laura to come here please."
"Yes," Millicent said.
Laura entered Joshua's study several minutes later. "Hello Laura, have a seat. Daniel is going back to England to stay with his father. I think it's best considering all that has happened."
"I think your right Mr. Collins," Laura said.
"You have been a wonderful role model for the children and I would like to give you a reference, and if I can help you find another postion."
"Thank you Mr. Collins. It has been a pleasure to work for you and your family," Laura said.
"Thank you Laura, I hope that you will let us know how you are doing," Joshua said.
"Of course I will."
Laura went up to the classroom, she wiped away the tears that fell from her eyes as she packed up her things. So many happy memories were in this room. She looked up at the house, she saw Sarah in the playroom window watching her. She looked back up and saw no one there. She would never forget what happened, and the little girl who had meant so much to her.

"I don't know if I can take it anymore. I thought I could go on, but everyday it seems to get harder and harder to get up and just function," Josette said.
"I know, you have to find a way to move on or it will control you, but don't ever forget him, and what he meant to you. Someday you may find someone who will make you as happy as he made you. And remember I'll always be here for you if you need me for anything," Peter said holding her hands.
"Thank you Peter," Josette said.
"I got to go to court now, I'll call you later to see how things went ok?" he said.
She nodded and he kissed her cheek. "Everything will turn out better than you may think it will."
Peter walked out of the house and got into his car. His cell phone rang, "Hello."
"Hey Peter, its Noah."
"Hi, what's up?"
"Is she going to come in?"
"Yes, I can't come in with her, I got to go to court, but she said she'd come to see you this afternoon."
"Good, I'll call you when she leaves."
"I'm going to call her when tonight to see how things went," Peter said.
"How did she look?" Noah asked.
"Tired," Peter said. "I got to go or I'm going to be late."
"Talk to you later," Noah said.
"Bye," Peter replied he looked in the mirror at the house as he drove away, he hoped everything was going to be okay.

Josette closed her eyes, and breathed in and out, the nausea faded. She slowly went up the stairs to her room. She went to the closet and took out her navy blue sleeveless turtleneck and black pants with the beads on the leg. She didn't want to go see Noah Tennyson, but she promised Joshua that she would.
She had gone to Collinwood for dinner earlier that week, Daniel was going back to England so Naomi thought they would give him a farewell dinner.
"We're all going to miss you so much Daniel," Naomi said sadly running her hands over the boy's head as they walked to the drawing room. "Promise me that you will write to us often."
"I will Aunt Naomi," Daniel said.
Joshua smiled, he looked over at Josette who had grown very pale. "Are you all right?" he asked with consern.
"I - yes, I'm feeling fine, just a little weak that's all," she said.
He walked over to her, and took her arm, "You don't look fine," he said and lead her to a chair, he went to the bar and poured her a drink. "Here drink this," he said.
She did, and some of the color returned to her cheeks. "Thank you Joshua," she said.
"I want to talk to you before you leave tonight," he said so no one else could hear him.
Josette nodded.
"Good-night Josette," Naomi said as she walked up the stairs with Daniel.
"Good-night Naomi," Josette said, "I'll call you later."
"I'll be right up Darling," Joshua said.
Naomi smiled, and went up the stairs.
"Let's go into my office," Joshua said. Josette followed him into his office. "Josette is everything all right? This is not the first time I've seen you like this. Are you feeling well?"
"Yes, I just didn't eat much today."
"I noticed you hardly touched you dinner," Joshua said.
"I wasn't feeling very well."
"I'm worried about you," Joshua said.
"I'm all right Joshua," she lied she felt awful and had for the past few weeks. "I think I must be coming down with the flu."
Joshua looked into her eyes, "You take care of your self okay," he said.
Josette smiled, Barnabas had been like his father in so many ways. "I will, it's nothing, I'll be fine in a couple of days."
He walked her to the car and watched her drive to Valrosa. He turned back and went into his office and opened his phone book and dialed Peter Bradford's number.
"Peter Bradford."
"Peter its Joshua Collins."
"Joshua, what can I do for you?" Peter asked.
"Have you seen Josette in the past few days?"
"No, I'm going to see her this weekend, why?"
"I think something may be wrong, she almost fainted after dinner tonight, she says it's just the flu, but I've noticed things this past month or so, I'd like you to talk to her, maybe have go see someone. Noah perhaps, and I'd like this to stay quiet. The last thing we need is for more press."
"I'll see what I can do," Peter said.
"Thank you Peter," Joshua said and hung up.
In the bedroom, Naomi was in bed reading a book, she smiled when he came into the room. "Is everything all right?"
"Yes, I just wanted to know if she needed anything."

"So what's wrong with me?" Josette asked Noah when he came back into the room, after she was dressed.
"I did a few tests and we should know something soon," Noah said reasurringly. "How are you feeling?"
"I feel fine, just tired and I feel sick but then it goes away and I feel fine."
"I mean -," he began.
"I feel lost with out him," she said finally.
"I call you when I know anything," Noah promised.
"Thank you," she said as he walked her to the door.
When she was gone he called Joshua Collins.
To be continued. . .
