Liz looked over some samples and pictures of some of Sugarbaker's former jobs. She turned admiringly through the portfolio. "You do really nice work, ladies." Julia Sugarbaker nodded appreciatively in return. She had not wanted to take this job with the Collins family until her sister, Suzanne had pointed out a few things. "Julia, this Collins family...why they practically own the entire town! Their money has money, and if we pass up this oppurtunity we would be big fool donkeys!" Julia had to agree with this, but she couldn't resist taking a jab at her sister nonetheless. "Suzanne, I thought you felt that this town was some backwater eyesore? Isn't that what you blurted out in the coffee shop when we first arrived?" Suzanne was miffed at her older sister's comment. "Julia, when do you EVER listen to what I say bad of someone? And besides, that was then, and this is now, and you really need to stop living in the past." "It was two days ago, Suzanne." Suzanne rolled her eyes and heaved a sigh. "Whatever, Julia."

So here they all were, Julia, Suzanne, Charlene and Mary Jo, sitting politely with Mrs. Elizabeth Collins Stoddard and Dr. Julia Hoffman who seemed oddly nervous, but then Julia wondered to herself, she didn't know the woman so how could she judge her present mood. Mrs. Stoddard wanted them to give Collinwood a face lift. Brighten it up a bit, but to be sure and retain it's old world charm. Charlene handed Mrs. Stoddard the contract and Suzanne was doing what she did best: kissing up. Mary Jo had been on the phone and she was just getting off. "I have some great news. That was the Wilson Contracting Agency in Bangor, and they have agreed to take the job. They can begin work next week." Liz was excited and she eagerly signed the contracts without even reading over them. "I just KNOW this will be a most advantageous venture, ladies!" Everyone smiled and even Dr. Hoffman managed to squeeze one out, but she knew in her heart of hearts that this was a big mistake, and they were all going to regret it.
