HAWAIIAN HONEYMOON PART ONE

"Tiny bubbles,
In my glass,
Make me fell happy,
Knock me on my ass!"

The crowd gathered at the luau squealed with delighted laughter as Don Ho himself made fun of his own famous hit song. Julia Hoffman Collins giggled like a school girl as her new husband, Barnabas, gently nuzzled her neck. She turned to him and sighed as her eyes rolled up in her head. "Oh, Barnabas! This is a dream come true! I have never been so happy in my whole life! Not my whole entire life! You have made me the happiest woman alive!" She shamelessly laid a big old wet smooch on her man's lips.

Barnabas had to come up for air, and he was a little embarassed. He was still in many ways a man of the 18th Century and in his day men and women were not so informal in public settings. But this was 1971 and the world was quite different than it had been in 1797. He had finally proposed to Julia and they had been married properly in a church in Collinsport! Liz has extended the great house of Collinwood as the gathering place for the reception afterwards, and it had been a grand affair! Why even the ghost of Sarah Collins, Barnabas' long dead suffering sister, had made an appearance. She appeared to and spoke to her brother and told him she was happy for him.

Yes Barnabas Collins had finally settled down, or had he just settled for what he could get? He cast the doubtful thought from his mind as he return his attentions to his new bride. "Julia, my dearest, I have arranged for a little sight seeing trip tomorrow. We will be embarking on a medium size cruise ship with a collection of other people for a tour of the islands. We need to pack accordingly as it is to be a three hour tour."

Julia smiled and closed her eyes dreamily as she happily said to herself, 'a three hour tour. Unseen to both of them and unbeknowst to any other the face of a skull with the mere suggestion of blond hair appeared in the flames of the open fire! As it faded a wicked woman's laughter was heard.
