This is the sequel to Dreams.

CHARACTERS

Quentin He's a businessman. He has brown hair and blue eyes. He's 6' tall.

Angelique She's a witch. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She's 5' tall.

David He's Quentin's nephew. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He's 6' tall.

Amy She's engaged to David. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She's 5'8" tall.

Gabriel He's Quentin's brother. He has blond hair and blue eyes. He's 6' tall.

Maggie She's Gabriel's wife. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She's 5'6" tall.

Barnabas He's Quentin's cousin. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He's 6' tall.

Act 1 Scene 1

(Collinwood. Enter Amy and David. Amy looks around at the portraits.)

Amy Who are all of these?

David This is my cousin Barnabas. He married his true love . Josette. They moved to England.

Amy Is this Quentin?

David That's my Uncle Quentin. (Amy looks at the portrait.)

Amy So how come he never married?

David I don't know. (Enter Quentin.)

Quentin Well I see you two are looking at the relatives. How are you Amy?

Amy I'm fine Mr. Collins.

Quentin You'll soon be a member of this family, Amy. Please call me Quentin.

Amy Alright. (She frowns) May I ask you a question?

Quentin Sure.

Amy How come you never married Quentin?

Quentin Well it's a long story and pretty boring.

David I'd like to hear it.

Amy So would I.

Quentin Well after Barnabas moved to England, Gabriel and I ran the business. Almost four years to the day after he'd moved Barnabas was back.

Amy? Why?

Quentin They found that they could be seperated. She caught a fever there and it took her life.

Amy How sad. Did he come back here because of the memories?

Quentin He never said. But while he was gone Gabriel had met a woman named Sarah. (David looks at Amy then at Quentin) No David. She wasn't.

Amy Who?

David Barnabas had a sister named Sarah.

Quentin This one was pure evil. She tried to get Gabriel to marry her only by the time she figured

out that Gabriel was gullable he'd become engaged to Maggie.

David What ever happened?

Quentin Gabriel married Maggie and Sarah killed me. (Amy stares. Quentin unbuttons his shirt. They see the scar over his heart.) She hung for her crime.

Amy If she killed you how did you come to be here?

Quentin Well....

Act 1 Scene 2

(1899 Collinwood. Gabriel, Maggie, and Barnabas are sitting with Quentin's body. Someone knocks on the door. Gabriel stands and exits. He enters a few minutes later. Angelique is behind him. She walks to Quentin.)

Angelique As hansome in death as he was in life. (She looks at them)Who has done this?

Barnabas Who are you?

Angelique My name's Angelique Bouchard. I have just arrived from Martenique.

Gabriel Did you know my brother well?

Angelique Yes. We were....close friends. Who has done this?

Maggie Her name is Sarah.

Angelique And you are?

Maggie I'm Maggie Evans.

Gabriel She's my fiance. And Sarah was going to kill me.

Angelique Quentin saved you?

Gabariel At the cost of his life.

Angelique Would you mind if I have a few minutes alone with him? I would like to say good bye in private. (They exit. She looks at Quentin. She takes out a small bag and smiles) Quentin, for being a selfless and caring more about others I will give you a second chance. (She sprinkles the powder over Quentin and mumbles some words. She smiles at him. A few minutes later his chest starts rising and falling. He opens his eyes.)
