Nicholas He's a businessman. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes. He's 6' tall.

Gabriel Quentin's brother. He has blond hair and blue eyes. He's 6' tall.

Maggie Gabriel's wife. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She's 5'8" tall.

Act 1 Scene 1

(A small cottage. Enter Nicholas and Angelique.)

Angelique Nicholas, do we have to have them come here?

Nicholas I have invited them. We have crops for sale. There are no buyers here.

Angelique Then you shall entertain them. I will not be here.

Nicholas My dear sister you will act as hostess.

Angelique Fine. (She stalks out and Nicholas laughs.)

Nicholas Angelique! (He goes after her.)

Act 1 Scene 2

(Collinwood. Enter Quentin. Maggie and Gabriel are having breakfast. They look up at him. His clother are disheveled.)

Gabriel Just getting home?

Quentin Good morning to you dear brother.

Gabriel Go get cleaned up. We need to talk. (Quentin exits. Gabriel goes into the library. Maggie walks upstairs. She knocks on Quentin's door. He opens it and he's shirtless. He smiles at her. She hands him a cup.)

Maggie I have coffee for you. (He takes it and she follows him into his room.) When are you going to settle down?

Quentin Settle down? Give up my nights? Never.(She starts to say something and he kisses her passionately. She responds and she feels his arousal.She jumps back and stares at him. He smiles at her.)

Maggie How dare you!

Quentin I guess you bring out the beast in me. (She slaps him and exits. She enters in the hall and she's shaking. He laughs.)

Act 1 Scene 3

(An hour later. Quentin enters the library. Gabriel is sitting there.)
