Nathaniel: He's a Reverend. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He's 6' tall.

Act 1 Scene 1

(1897 Collinwood. Enter Quentin. He opens the door and Maggie's there. He smiles at her. She enters and he closes the door.)

Quentin: Hello Maggie. Chris isn't here.

Maggie: I know. I came to see you.

Quentin: Me? (She nods) Well what can I do for you?

Maggie: You can stop being stubborn.

Quentin: I'm not stubborn.

Maggie: Most newlyweds get time for a honeymoon

Quentin: I told Chris that he could have the time.

Maggie: When?

Quentin: This morning. I told him that I'd finally caught up with Gabriel and that he would be here.

Maggie: So all you were waiting for was to hear from Gabriel?

Quentin: Yes. (She smiles and hugs him)

Maggie: Thank you Quentin!

Quentin: That's alright. Have you heard from your friend?

Maggie: Sarah? (He nods) Yes. She and her fiancé will be here in a few days.

Quentin: Good.

Maggie: She plans on being here early so we can talk.

Quentin: They are more than welcome to stay here.

Maggie: Really? (He nods)That would be nice.

(Quentin looks at her with a serious expression.)

Quentin: Where did we go wrong Maggie?

Maggie: We didn't love each other. The first time I met Chris it was as if we'd known each other forever.
