Joey When do we start?

Angelique Tonight. I have much to do. (She exits. Joey shrugs and exits.)

Act 3 Scene 5

(Barnabas's apartment. enter Barnabas. The phone rings and he picks it up.)

Barnabas Hello? (P) Hello Quentin.(P) What? (P) Why? (P) What sort of personal business? (P) Ok. I'll tell her.(P) When... (He looks at the phone and hangs up. He's frowning. He exits.)

Act 4 Scene 1

(Quentin's office. Enter Robin. She opens the door to Quentin's office. No one is there. Enter Barnabas.)

Robin He's not in.

Barnabas I know. I talked to him and he won't be in the rest of the week.

Robin Is he sick?

Barnabas No. He has some personal business.

Robin Oh. (They kiss) I guess I've got the rest of the week off. (They exit.)

Act 4 Scene 2

(That evening at Angelique's home. Enter Joey. Angelique smiles at her. She frowns at the bruises on her throat.)

Angelique Did you rest?

Joey Yeah. Any ideas as to who and how?

Angelique Well...(Enter Jeb) What are you doing here?

Jeb I came to see you. (He walks over to her) I also came for her. (He looks at Joey. He hits Angelique and she goes down. He grabs Joey and places a rag over her nose and mouth. She struggles then passes out. He picks her up and they exit.)

Act 4 Scene 3

(Jonique's place. Jonique opens the door and Quentin is there. They kiss passionately and exit.)

Act 4 Scene 4

(Angelique's home. Enter Robin. She sees Angelique on the floor and goes to her.)

Robin Angelique, are you alright? What happened?

Angelique He took her.

Robin Who?

Angelique Jeb took Joey. He's taken her to...I have to go to her.

Robin This is what she wants. She wants you to be irrational. As long as she thinks she has the upper hand by keeping her alive she's safe.

Angelique You're right. (She exits. She enters a few minutes later carrying a purse) Let's go.

Robin Where?

Angelique To prove to her that she's not that poweful. (They exit.)

Act 4 Scene 5

(A basement. Joey is laying on a bed. She opens her eyes and looks around. She sees the door. she stands and walks over to it. She tries to open it but it's locked. She walks back to the bed and sits down. Enter Jonique)

Joey You!!

Jonique You were expecting Glenda the Good Witch?
