Sarah That gave it to me. (She has tears in her eyes.) They said that if I didn't do it they
would harm Gabriel.

Quentin Gabriel's not here. He's safe.

Sarah No. They're the ones who caused Chris to get hurt. (She stands very close to Quentin) I didn't want to do it. (She touches his hand and he flinches.) I swear I didn't. (She pulls him to the bed and he sits.) Quentin? Are you alright? (He's staring at the door. She touches his cheek and gets no response. She smiles. She unbuttons his shirt and removes it. She lays him on the bed and removes his trousers. She covers him then rips her dress. She sits in a chair across from him.)

Act 2 Scene 4

(Collinwood. Enter Julia and Gerard. They look downstairs then go upstairs. They look in Sarah and Gabriel's room. No one is there then they go to Quentin's room. It's also empty. She turns to look at Gerard with blazing eyes.)

Julia We're too late! If you hadn't been so pig-headed we would have gotten here in time.

Gerard So where is he?

Julia I'm not sure. I do know that we must get to him before Gabriel.

Gerard And Sarah?

Julia She needs to grow up. We must find Quentin. He's the key. Where would she go?

Gerard Sarah has a family home not far from here.

Julia Do you think that she would take him there?

Gerard It would make sense as it's been empty since her parents died.(Julia is frowning) What is it?

Julia There's something I've either forgotten or...Who were her parents?

Gerard Her father's name was Nicholas and her mother's name was Angelique.

Julia And the last name?

Gerard Blair. Nicholas adopted a boy.

Julia While he was married to Angelique?

Gerard It was about the same time she was giving birth to Sarah that he brought home the baby boy. What's this have to do with Quentin?

Julia A lot. Let's go. I have to make a stop. (They exit.)
