They assembled for the simple ceremony--the groom, Barnabas Collins, his radiant bride, Angelique Bouchard, Ben Stokes and Naomi Collins, who would act as witnesses, and Reverend Bland, who wasn't sure he should be performing this wedding at all. The groom's father was apparently not happy with the union, or the eminent Joshua Collins would surely be here.

Reverend Bland's voice rang out: "Do you, Angelique Bouchard, take Barnabas Collins to be your lawfully wedded husband of your own free will. . ."

Angelique opened her mouth and said, "Hell, no. I've been to bed with this guy, and he's so fast on the trigger, you barely know anything happened. No, thanks, even becoming a Collins isn't worth being stuck with the world's worst lover! I'm outta here!"
