Fractured DS History Again

Josette had just seen the hideous apparition Angelique showed her of
what her life would be like if she stayed with Barnabas--a woman
with a pale, ghastly face, her mouth dripping blood, hair in wild
disarray. And, oh, God, those fangs!

Barnabas ran after Josette. The two of them met on Widows' Hill,
where, to Barnabas' astonishment, Josette threw herself into his arms.
"Bite me again," she demanded. "Finish the job this time, you know,
open a vein in your chest and let me drink your blood."

His eyes widened with shock. "Josette. . .are you sure?" he asked,
raising his voice to be heard over the pounding surf below.

"Well duh," Josette said, hugging him happily. "I WANT to be a
vampire! That Goth look is sooooo cool! Imagine it,
Barnabas--eternal life! Sucking the blood out of handsome young
dudes. . ." She caught the jealous expression on his face and quickly
added, "And then we can have nasty, bestial vampire sex in our coffin
built for two! Oh, Barnabas, we'll live forever together, stay as
beautiful as we are now, travel all over and have ourselves a blast!
Come on, don't waste anymore time, let's bring me over!"

Angelique, watching from afar, saw two bats fly from Widows' Hill,
circle, and disappear into the night. "Shit," she said. "That bitch,
Josette, sure is full of surprises!"
