Claudia sat down at the dining room table and sighed. It had been a grueling and lonely time to be without Bramwell.

She knew that there would be times like this. He was the CEO, in charge of the Collins Corporations, Inc.

The times he would have to devote would grow to 14 to 18 hour days and always into Saturdays also, much to her dismay.

This time the job took him away for a month in London. She would have joined him, but she now had her own business to run plus their babies to raise. One already in kindergarten, the other barely a toddler.

Picking up her pen, her eyes began to mist as she wrote a poem to send to him....

How long has it been, my dearest one
Since we first met?
The attraction that pulled us together
Is something we'll never forget

The first moment I saw your face
I felt there would be something more.
For my heart whispered you are the one.
I had so long been searching for.

Though we are many miles apart
its as you are always here.
And the love I feel reaching out to me
Is something I cherish so dear.

As the winds of time reach out to touch us
my heart will remain ever true.
And after my days are over
I'll spend eternity loving only you.

Placing the pen back on the table she felt the sticky hand of her youngest, pulling on her arm.....
